I'm not sure why the previous review aren't as good! But when I went I had a fantastic time! The staff was fantastic -- the music was great and the price was extremely reasonable. Kudos to the staff there because I ended up losing my phone and the staff recovered it, gave it to the club owner - who then went out of his way to make sure I get it back. I'm so thankful and I would highly recommend Layla Lounge if you want to have a good time! Thanks a million.

Horrible place! Very low class, Not a lounge at all as there is no free sitting areas! Anytime you go into a lounge and see women with there ass out dancing on their hands and knees on the dirty floor, it’s time to go! This is definitely a young ppl spot where you have to watch you back and clinch your purse tight. Lucky for me I came to the club with a promoter so I didn’t pay to get in but when I got there it was a long line of people waiting outside around 1030pm and the club was completely empty until after 1130-1200ish when they decided to start letting ppl in. The security didn’t have any control over the vip section because we would step out on the dance floor for a second and have to rush back to vip because we would see some random ppl sitting at our table smdh The local hood boogars will break out fighting in a instant and don’t come in there looking super cute because they will try to fight you for no reason. I left the Vip section to used the Restroom and came back to a full on fight including my best friend, who is dc police officer( but wouldn’t hurt a fly) and 3 girl and two guys were trying to jump her because she asked them to get up from our table that we paid for and she didn’t even ask them directly she asked security to move them. HORRIBLE HORRIBE HORRIBLE! The only good thing I can say about this place is that the DJ was great and my friends said the wings were delicious. So just go at your own risk.

Girls here are sexy, the music is live but this place will find anyway to charge you more money. I had two bartenders charge different prices for the same drink, if they feel you got the wrong shoes, they will charge for that, they had a fake vip line that charges more to skip ahead but again it's just a chance for them to charge more.

tried going for the after party for Rae Sremmurd at fillmore, online promotions advertised for everyone to get in free before midnight, and ladies free all night. Went out of the way to check it out, when we got there the bouncer said it would be $40 per person to get in, EVEN THE GIRLS WE WERE WITH! When i tried to explain the advertisement online, even after pulling it up on my phone, the bouncer refused to acknowledge the offer his own damn club was promoting and raised his price to $60 per person for the three of us. Not sure if they have a problem with white people or people in general, but from what ive read it seems like the bouncer did us a favor making us save our hard earned money on a poorly run, worn down club that will probably end up going out of business within the next month

This was huge waste of time. First off, we were supposedly on the guest list get on b4 11 and it's free. Ppl were getting there at 10 1030, they held the line until well after 11. It was my sister's birthday so I paid the 60 for us to get in. First off all the bottom floor was tiny. They literally had 10 bar stools. And couches lined the walls. Of course they were all taken so we tried to sit on the couch only to be informed that to sit there he had to kick out at least 300 to sit. 😒they said it was VIP but there was no where else to sit. Then we paid 37 dollars for 3 drinks. I spoke to the owner and told her it was false advertisement to say it was a lounge and the charge insane amounts to sit down. Asked about going upstairs, she said no one goes up until 1, mind u it was 1130. The drinks r over priced, it's way too much to sit down. Upstairs was just as bad. THIS IS NOT A LOUNGE, IT'S A HOLE IN THE WALL CRAP CLUB. GOOD MUSIC BUT THE REST WAS SO BAD IT DIDN'T EVEN MATTER. IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE LESS THAT 1 STAR I WOULD. DON'T GO HERE EVER, IT'S A RIPOFF.

When i arrived i got there for the free party they was promoting but because they had us wait so long they tried to change up an try to make back money lost. I waited in line for hour an a half saw that the bouncers was charging twice you go through an pay one bouncer just to pay the next to get inside an the dj was wack an bartender was late. Party for 2 hours an the dj packs an leave I only had 2 hours to party because they wanted to keep outside for an hour an half just to promote an empty club they had a crowd of people leave the dj packed up an left which means if you wanted to continue till they close in 2 hours you then pay to go to the second level to paty. This place is not worth the hour half wait outside past the bouncers who charge at both stops whatever they want ro charge an wack dj its not worth it they promted a party that was ass lost money then tried to gain it back by charging twice at the door an to go up some darn stairs. The photos you see on the fb page are a lie the club was wack the people you see in line was there since 9 an 2 hours after left because of the long wait dont waste your time....

First me and my friends arrived for the happy hour that was promoted from 9-11, they didn't let us in until 10:45....Security is a mess, I felt very violated by the lady security guard she was grabbing on my bra and touch my vagina but never checked under my hat (I've never been patted down like that, not even when going into government buildings) Me and my friends purchased a table which was cool at first but then security allowed anyone to come behind the ropes and could not control the crowd( I will say though that in the beginning our table was not ready and the owner gave us free drinks until it was)... And to top it all off after we spent $350 for our table, the waitress comes asking us to move down because they had sold half of our table to someone else, so now we have to share a table with someone, and we have no room to dance because security could not handle the crowd in the vip section. Also, people were smoking weed, cigarettes, and everything else inside, I left there smelling like a pile of smoke. Disgusting. I will never go here again. And I will never sabotage anyone's business so I'm not going to say don't go, but I'm just sharing my experience. I hated it and will never go again.
