In town from Cincinnati and desperately needed a bite after going to the Smithsonian Natural History Museum. My partner and I chose this place and it was freaking awesome. His grilled cheese and my sunflower toast were both PHENOMENAL and my iced earl grey/his quad shot "le jim" were both amazing! W
The teas were average, but their food items were delicious. They nailed both their avocado toast and banana bread. The atmosphere is very bright and I appreciated their extended covid measures.
Easily my favorite cafe in DC! The staff and management are wonderful, the food is delicious (avocado toast fans unite!), but most of all you have to try the cold brew. Even during the pandemic, I would make the trek across town just to get my cold brew fix. 10/10 would recommend!
I've never been to this location before & after my experience today I will not be coming back. I ordered an obscenely overpriced tomato soup and grilled cheese (mind you I have no problem spending money on GOOD food)
The soup was straight up NOT good. it had absolutely no flavor.

Fantastic atmosphere, and the owner is very professional and friendly and continuing to take good precautions against COVID-19, even while the government is carelessly abandoning restrictions. The iced mocha I had was one of the best I’ve ever had in the DC area.
