Went for coffee before a show in the neighborhood. SOOPER nice people working there. Pretty decent beer selection, too, with a lot of local brews. Definitely recommend.

Cute convenience store selling high-quality, local essentials. The made-to-order food is exceptional. Recommend the Chicken and Brussels salad and CAPS (chicken, avocado, provolone, and sriracha mayo). Wish this was in my neighborhood!

In a neighborhood called Ivy City is Union Kitchen, an incubator for local food and beverage companies. Union Kitchen Grocery is the store that sells their items and other local goods. This location is one of several locations and one of the largest. Located in Shaw, it doubles as a store and cafe.
Best breakfast sandwiches in the dmv area. I love it
