I live right around the corner from Windows and it is always there when I am in a pinch for something basic or essential and I do not want to have to go out of the neighborhood. Prices are a little higher but that is the price of convenience.

The market is better than any of the surrounding corner convince stores. The cafe is nice with good food options. I don't know why the market door is always locked, you have to enter through the cafe. For a while it seemed like they were never open but I think I was just too early or too late whenev
The sandwich makeup was meh but the idea of minced chicken in chicken salad was a great choice. The service is fast and very friendly. Their prices are spot on and although the selection may be small their products are high quality. 👍
Pretty good sandwiches and decent drinks here, but it always seems to take ages to actually get your order. The attached store, while still very small, is the best bet for groceries and staples in the neighborhood.
Fully staffed at all times. Wonderful market and decent indoor cafe with seatings. Nothing to denigrate here, unfortunately this market is being denigrated by malicious graffiti idiots.
Favorite Place to Go when I'm in the DC area. I always make a point to go everytime I'm in DC. Basically you can get anything from a snack, specialty coffee, to dinner and deserts. Love it!
Friendly neighborhood store. Typical here in DC. Staff is extremely friendly and very attentive. I had breakfast here and it was decent.
