My chicken salad on a croissant was most delicious! Sandwich maker and cashier were super nice. I'll be back to this little gem in Dupont Circle!
The first place I went to when I moved to DC. A wonderful spot and I’m sad to see it go.
You honestly cannot find a better sandwich. Every time I order anything here, I'm left wanting more. My favorite is the BLTA. Worth every penny. Whether you're looking for lunch or the perfect meal for a picnic, this is the place to come to.
Update: Lots of positive changes here recently (possibly new ownership/management?) - the store is much cleaner, the shelves are organized better, the deli counter has been expanded, and the deli is now open later. Their cubano sandwich is solid.

Great neighborhood spot! I’ve loved every sandwich I’ve gotten here (especially the Cubano), they’ve got a solid beer and wine selection, and the team working here is so friendly. Love having Prego right down the street!
I love that they put in a little deli. Small selection of sandwiches but good quality. I've only had two but enjoyed them both. A little bit pricey for the size of the sandwich but they use Boars Head meat so the quality is good. They have a little plancha to toast the bread make the meat hot and me
One of the best sandwiches ever!!!! I get the turkey club on rye, my dad gets it on croissant and my sis gets the cubano. My mom likes them ALL. Great place for lunch. Sandwiches run about $10.
One of the best sandwiches I've had visiting Washington DC. I had ordered the italian asndwich, and it was every bit as delicious, with it's premium meats and fantastic red wine vinegar dressing. It is as comparable to having a sandwich in New York. Great customer service. Would highly recommend
Wonderful energy. Very respectful staff and even more delicious wines and foods. Bought my mom the Udon. She usually doesn't like spicy foods but the Udon was perfect
Liquor store with a wonderful deli counter. Service can be slow depending on the volume of customers, but if I want a sandwich it's worth waiting a bit to go here. As other people have mentioned, they've changed a lot, for the better
The sandwich shop is back!! Finally a good option for a quality sandwich in the East DuPont area! Open all day for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a huge selection of beer and wine also!

Best breakfast and lunch sandwiches in Logan Circle/Upper DuPont area and it’s not even close. All Boar’s Head deli meats freshly sliced into fantastic election of bread/rolls. Try call in orders too
