Lounge 201 - Washington DC - Photo album

Got a very well made Old Fashion. Bar staff is professional and friendly. Place was clean and well lit. Good selection of whisky. This is probably the best spot for a drink before catching a train. Haven't had a chance to eat yet, but I sure will. Not hard to see from the street.
Lounge 201 has changed a great deal. The new cocktail menu is not as good as the old one, but on the flip side the food is better and cheaper than it was before. Service can be tough when they are busy as well. If you get a chance, their sweet potato fries are absolutely fantastic.
Enjoyable atmosphere for Husker games. Family friendly, but bar food is a little pricey. Also, NO changing facilities (Koala Care Changing Station) for those with little ones still in diapers.
I visited 201 Bar for the first time recently after an event at the Dirksen Senate Office Building. I was there with colleagues, so drinks and appetizers were free. Maybe that's why the drinks were a little weak, but the appetizers (spring rolls, pizza, and caprese kabobs) were pretty yummy. I liked
For the professional suit and tie crowd. A little calmer than some other Hill bars. But, let a snow day come and it becomes a club. Overall, a decent stop.
This place is cool. Mixed crowd. Decent happy hour specials. Nice venue. Need to do better on the bathrooms though, somewhat gross.
Only came for some drinks just the old fashioned and name TBD were very good.
I liked it. It got a bit crowded, but it was nice for a basement bar and got lively. The crowd was a bit young, seemed like a lot of fresh out of college types. The bathroom as a bit janky.
I was here for a private event and had a great time. This spot has a lot of room to move around and mingle. The drinks were good to.
My fave bartender worked here for years. It was a staple in my after work repertoire. Good place for a quiet chat after work as its usually not too crowded.
We love coming here for the Husker games. Fun people, great atmosphere, and good food prices. It's always a great time.
Spacious bar with great happy hour special during the week, right by the hill! They have a great selection of ryes and good snacking options.
I was there a few days before it closed down. Great food and even better music, always has had. It will be missed.
Really great atmosphere but food and drinks prices are higher than you'd expect for neighborhood.
Great venue for networking and happy hours, convenient to Union Station. Also has a happy hour that lasts all night!
