Taylor Gourmet - Washington DC - Photo album

While touring DC, my cousin had a cheesesteak craving, and this place was within walking distance. It was around 3 PM on a Wednesday, and there was no one else inside. They had a lunch special - buy one sandwich, get one free. Unsure if it's worth it at full price, but it felt like a steal at half p
First time at Taylor Gourmet and I was extremely impressed! For starters, the place was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly. I am Gluten free and I got myself the Gluten free cheesesteak and it was delicious! Not very easy to find good gluten free sandwich spots and glad I came across th
I was a customer before the pandemic so when I heard Taylor Gourmet is back I was very happy! The food was delicious and the staff were very nice and accommodating.
I’ll have to try the cheesesteak next time because the photo looks so yummy. I got the Franklin Square salad with breaded chicken cutlet and it was delicious! I feel $15 is a little pricey for a basic salad but it was fresh and I ate it all!
My husband orders off Doordash. We had the mozzarella wedges and cheese steak sub with American cheese. It was so delicious and well-cooked. We didn't get a picture it was so good. Everything came hot and fresh. Not a fan of mozzarella wedges but cheese steak is a YES!
Taylor Gourmet is a great sun with good subs. They're bread is top notch and the meats and cheeses are great. For some reason, they don't do mayo or other condiments. Not even mayo packets. The subs are huge, save half for later. The cane sugar fountain drinks are awesome!
The salads here are very good, if a bit pricey. Get the breaded chicken on your salad.
Food is great but can be a bit of a wait when it gets busy.
Solid Philly cheese steak.
The food is delicious. I usually come during off peak hours and I never wait more than 10-15 minutes. That is because you’re waiting for made to order food.
We just ate our first meal in Taylor Gourmet and the burger (Johnny Ringo) was insane! Comes with fried potatoes and bacon. Full meal with right price tag. It will keep us full till evening. Very cool industrial design, great music and polite staff. Super clean ! This place would be a hit in Brookly
The sandwich was decent, just a little dry. Needed to add mustard and extra lettuce. The people were awesome though.
Several years ago a man from Philly drove down to DC and started a little sandwich shop on H Street NE. With him, came good bread from the north. Today over a dozen locations of Taylor exist throughout the DC Metro area. Taylor is probably the best sandwich shop in the city. It's fast casual so the
I broke my diet on this place... And holy high gluten Batman it was amazing. Just, amazing. Go. Buy food. It's good. Or at least the Cluckin Burger I had was good. Also the French fry thingies were awesome too. Very happy I stopped in!
Fast casual is fast casual, but this is just a little bit above the herd. The food is always interesting and original. The bread can be a little tough sometimes, but at this intersection of price, quality, and speed I don't expect perfection.
The staff is super-nice at this location, in my experience. I love the sandwiches (especially the Federal) and risotto balls. Even when it's crowded, service is generally quick.
Just good, had pork sandwich and would have it again without question.
