Old City Market And Oven - Washington DC - Photo album

What a gem. Unassuming but just a great neighborhood spot. Great Italian sammie and the thin crust wood-fired pizza is excellent (and fairly priced). Also, the basement is a good spot to chill and put on a record on a rainy day!
Wow! What a great find on our last day at our nearby Airbnb. Great coffee. Tons of groceries. Play records in the lower level. Super super friendly staff and fellow patrons.
One of the best pizzas I’ve had anywhere, with great service. Also sandwiches, salads, deli and an interesting range of wines & beers.
This was the perfect place to stop for lunch. Even our 14 year old son commented on how nice the atmosphere is. Great selection of drinks. Pizza was delicious - we had the Farmers Choice. Our daughter had the chicken quesadilla and loved it. Our son had the Italian cold cut and ate the whole thing.
What an absolute gem this deli and pizza place is. We have been twice. Great sandwiches, salads and drinks selection. After 4pm there are the superb wood fired pizzas. The staff are the best, when we realised that the beers were sold in 6 packs only the lovely server gave us 2 of her personal beers
This place is AWESOME! Not only do they serve awesome fresh baked goodies and breakfast but they also have a deli and grocery section. Not to mention the DOPE downstairs slates where you can take your food and listen to vinyls🤩 one stop shopping and vibes! Visit them! Owner and employees were super
I’ve been ordering from old city market and oven for a couple years now. Best Italian cold cut sandwich in dc, and their blue cheese dressing is really unique. If they heat up and bake the sandwich it is even better, but they don’t always remember.
Sometimes I just want a single slice of cake and Old City provides. Not sure if they bake their cakes in-house, but all the ones I’ve tried are delicious! My favorite is the yellow cake with chocolate frosting.
The entire staff are just some of the best people you could ever meet. I absolutely love this place. The pizza is amazing & I happen to get the grilled salmon sandwich regularly. Fantastic wine selection & soon to have a great patio. If your in town, swing by & get a breakfast burrito with a coffee.
Great Pizza at good prices, They have other interesting items as well. The seating area downstairs is the attractive part with old vinyl records and a turntable, ask the staff to play the record and they'll help you out. Overall great experience and the area around it is a treat to walk!
