Food was good. Huge portions. Definitely leftovers and good bang for your buck. “Warm tummy” type food. Chickpea stew was solid.
Delicious vegan dishes !!! Very well seasoned and good portions as well as reasonable price. The staff very nice and welcoming. They were out of few things but all the dishes and sides were delicious.
The food was delicious!;I went twice during my weekend stay in DC. Once for dinner, and once for brunch with my mother for mother's day. Mom said those were the best pancakes she has ever had. I agree! The dinner was delicious as well. This is a vegan restaurant with a southern soul food vibe!
This place is a real gem! Such a warm vibe upon walking in, and exceptional service. The food is cooked with love, and you can taste it. I had the vegan crab cakes with collards and plantains. Will definitely be coming back!

Senbeb Cafe is the best Vegan cafe in the DMV. I've been to a number of vegan restaurant in the this area and I've been sadly disappointed by the selections and quality of the meals that I've consumed there. I'm so glad google introduced me to this amazing place. I love finding vegan spots in the DMV so I don't have to drive hours away to get a good plate. The staff was wonderful. I'll definitely be going back!
