Kfc

I haven't been to a KFC in forever. And today I was in McDonald's parking lot but didn't want that again, so I downloaded the app and ordered. The KFC was just across the street so I waited in the designated area until the app said my food was ready. I went inside the newly renovated space and it was gorgeous 😍. So sleek and clean and bright but still warm and inviting. They did a good job. Staff was cool and my food was coming out as soon as I got to the counter. They were polite and I was in and out. I got 4pc extra crispy combo with mashed potatoes and gravy, an extra side of mac and cheese and Dr pepper. Their Dr Pepper was a bit less flavorful and strong than the other fast food places in my opinion. The biscuit was ok a bit too thick and Mac and cheese was gloopy (both status quo for KFC so it's fine). The chicken was amazing. Super flavorful, but I fortunately the meat was on the dry side for the white meat. But the crunch and flavor was all the way there. Mashed potatoes I feel use to be better but they still were tasty. Also I was kinda mad the dessert cakes weren't listed in the app but I saw the sign when I went inside. I would've gotten them with my order. So maybe I'll go back before they leave.

My family and I ordered takeout, we were in the drive through, when we were at the pickup window there was a line. We were the third car in the line, they had some the fourth car park to prevent the drive through line from getting too long. We ordered an 8 piece fried chicken, green beans, and Cole slaw, they told us we would have to wait a bit if we wanted fried chicken. We had to wait 15 minutes for our order, when the food came we ended up getting an 8 piece fried chicken, green beans, and mashed potatoes with gravy. One of my family members can't eat potatoes, health reasons, that is why we specifically ordered the Cole slaw.

Havnt been back in years....just dont do take out much. We had some old friends stop by heading to myrtle beach, they were hungry so we the family buckets and a box....IT WAS INCREDIBLE....Thank You...I may decide to go for myself another time...

Just needed to express how amazing the family meal was that i received from you guys yesterday evening! where to begin? the chicken was 'falling off the bone' tender and exquisite, the biscuits were the best biscuits i've ever tasted - so full of flavor, yet without relying on a bunch of butter to get there (like other 'ahem' establishments), and my daughter's inhaled the mac and cheese AND mashed bangers and gravy! JUST such a great experience... i expected so little (fast food and all), and you guys OVERDELIVERED... KUDOS! the entire, (FRIENDLY!) staff is easily worth several times whatever they're making - in these desperate times of understaffing, they're somehow still providing product that is worthy of all the history behind this storied restaurant - EXCEPTIONAL!

Wasn't aware that franchises had different open and close times. Food is always enjoyable but having to drive 10-15 miles out of the way to get KFC because one store closes an entire hour early before all the rest in the area is ridiculous. I really wanted KFC.. lls
