Abunai - Washington DC - Photo album

I got a bowl with three proteins: salmon, tuna, and chicken. I feel like even with those three it wasn’t enough food/ protein. Getting the chicken was also a mistake very dry and brittle. I did like all of the topping choices though especially the dry ones. The aioli is also a great sauce.
This is my favorite place to get lunch in DC and is one of the only (?) Hawaiian (and woman) owned poke places that I know of in DC! The food is 100/10. Love bringing friends from out of town and casual work lunches here. Poke bowls and furikake mac salad are incredible and the spam katsu musubi is
Super yummy poke and fast and friendly service! I tried their Abunai signature poke bowl with sushi rice and it was great! Would come back.
Some of the best sushi and poke in all of Washington, DC!
This will probably now be my go-to lunch place in the area whenever I’m feeling poke or something similar. There’s plenty of variety of food choices, even the tofu was tasty, the serving sizes are solid and the price is fair for the area and food. The service was kind too. I only wish that they had
A solid poke shop with all the classic fixings (plus, as a bonus, a smattering of traditional Hawaiian snacks and sides that you usually can't find at most mainland poke shops) and super cute decor. I've been slowly making my way through all of DC's poke restaurants, and Abunai immediately stood out
Fantastic poke bowls! Loved the daily special and everything was fresh, fresh, fresh.
I really like their Poke Bowl. Is really fresh. I usually eat poke bowl everywhere around the USA. Theirs are really good. A good option
Went today for lunch and the food was amazing. Had the Hawaiian plate with pork shoulder, very delicious. The serving was a good size. Sit, eat, and go type of place.
The food here is incredible!! I recommend anyone going here. I found this place 2 weeks ago , and I have already been here 6 times. I recommend the Teri beef and the Kalua pig nachos. The Poke bowls are great too.
I got the small bowl of marinated ahi. The portion size was huge, for a small, but pricy for one scoop ($8.80). The bowl tasted good, and you can add lots of toppings and sauces. They do have a $6 special, but it doesn’t come with rice ($3).
A little disappointed with the chicken long rice (if you're going to use breast meat instead of leg meat, cut it smaller or shred it-it was very dry). The cucumber namasu was good, and the mac salad was legit hawaiian style-loved it! And the spam musubi was spot on.
