Gorsha Ethiopian Eatery - Washington DC - Photo album

We ordered a two-meat dish with lamb and chicken both really good. The portion was generous and our server was polite and friendly which is a plus.
I’m not an Ethiopian food expert and I was a little overwhelmed by Union Market (it can get busy!), so I asked the woman working what she would suggest and she put together a *delicious* combination. Trying new foods can be a little intimidating so I really appreciated not having to make any decisio
I had the small rice bowl with 3 vegetarian curries. The lentils were delicious and the crunchy injera topping added a nice texture to the meal. I think the portion size could be a bit more considering other food options at the market.
Fun, tasty, diverse restaurant. We had a really fun dinner w 4 couples. Food was plentiful and tasty. Great, international environment bc of the decor and clientele. My Old Fashioned was well prepared, too. Family owned. Look forward to next time!
Great concept and great food! I ordered the gorsha bowl. As an Ethiopian, I can say that this is delicious for Ethiopian "fast" food. Will definitely come back and recommend!
My first time having Ethiopian food, it was the bomb!
Generous portions, very flavorful. A great gateway into Ethiopian food for those who haven’t tried it.
Got a bowl at union market. Pretty sure it’s the only thing in union market where you can order anything close to Whole 30 compliant. Soooo delicious!!!
Had the Gorsha bowl. It was very tasty. Love this restaurant.
Not a fan of the bread but the chicken and the rice were really good.
