This hidden gem of a sandwich shop is tucked away on a quiet street, has a casual and eclectic vibe, and serves up a wide variety of tasty sandwiches made from fresh local ingredients. I tried the Soul sandwich and was amazing. I greatly enjoyed the combination of their bulgogi, kimchi, and slaw on a nice sized fresh baguettes. I’ll definitely be back to try others!
these sandwiches may be on the expensive side, but theyre large and have a delicious combo of ingredients with an international cities theme. there are options to make them salads, as well. the bread itself could be higher quality—its soft and bland, but i prefer more flavorful with a crispier texture
This is a hidden nice and cozy sandwich shop. The sandwiches here are delicious! I had the Seoul, one of their best sellers. The bread is not hard to chew or stale. Meat is tasty. There are more options than the menu, for example breakfast sandwiches. Basically you can go there every day without eating the same food.
This place is so great! If you’re looking for something to eat, that’s not your every day, cookie cutter, boring, had 100 times kind of sandwich then come HERE! 💯 There are so many options of so many sandwiches you’ve never tried! They use the best bread 🥖 and what a cool idea to begin with.💡I usually get the Capri, but I also like avocado on it.🥑 I used to come here quite a bit pre-pandemic, but not so much since then. I came in the other day and they just repeated my usual order back to me before i had the chance to say it.😳 Talk about great customer care! It made my heart smile so hard.💜💛 The people standing in line were quite shocked, as was I, but in a good way. We need more places like this 🥰
Tried this place on a whim while working at the convention center. Amazing sandwich, great size with tasty bread pack full of ingredients. Got the Lima which was full of flavor without being overpowering, solid choice!
Very unique offerings. Variety of choices to satisfy every taste. Fresh ingredients, fresh bread, amd tasty as it can be. A must visit!!!
I can't say enough good things about this place. I got the Beirut sandwich which had brined vegetable. My only desire would be some some jalapeno to add a little kick. My wife ordered the Seoul and substituted with spicy slaw; it was one of the best beef sandwiches I ever had. Almost like bohn mi.
I had the Cairo and it was really good. The bread is perfection and doesn't leave you feeling heavy. The Cairo in particular was refreshing and I felt great after eating it. The sandwich is big enough for two meals. Food locally sourced. The staff are friendly and helpful. Love this place. If you're in DC, support a place like this over chains.
This location is rather small but we just went in to grab and go, it was perfect for that. The staff was excellent and these sandwhiches were phenominal. I had the kingston the chicken was very juicy which was great but there wasn't much jerk flavor in it. It was a good sandwhich still. Way better than all the other subsandwhich competitiors..
The location is in an alley and inside is very small. It actually works well. The sandwich I've tried so far was the Seoul. Honestly? I wanted more spice. Don't get me wrong, it was flavorful, but it lacked the kick I was looking for in the description. I'll be back though, as the taste of that and the description of the other sandwiches makes me want to try several. That and the bread they used was very good and very fresh. That's incredibly helpful
