The brunch menu offered great options but due to my seafood allergies I chose the chicken and waffles BUT that was not a lesser choice by any means. It's was DELISH!! The chicken was well seasoned and the waffle was fluffy on the inside and crisp on the outside. It also, unlike most waffles I have h
The food is so good! I went for brunch. I was pleasantly surprised that the crab cakes actually had a lot of crab in them. The gumbo was certainly not my grandma's, but it was very flavorful and delicious. My only issue was the poor tea selection.
We went there for Sunday brunch. We had a couple cocktails and the same entree (not very original I know). One of the cocktails was good, while the other one tasted more like mango juice. I would recommend the bartender to work on his alcoholic mix. For the entree we had the waffle with fried ch
Fantastic! Talk about hospitality. They accommodated our party during their closed hours voluntarily. The rum punch was delicious aND the shrimp and grits are still #1 on my best shrimp & grit scale. This one is my new tradition when in DC. It's definitely a must try. Enjoy!!
Great neighborhood Brunch spot. Chicken and Waffles excellent. Best shrimp and grits in the city. Reasonably priced. Great service. Gets busiest on Sunday - easier to get in on Saturday.
Delicious Brunch. The bananas foster waffles, fried potatoes and mimosas were delicious. Friendly service. Fair prices. Will definitely return again!
Very non descriptive outside but this place is a favorite. The staff is super friendly and the food is really good. They do have brunch deals on the weekend. It is a good spot to get some really good food.
It was super amazing! All of our food tasted like someone's grandmother spent all day picking fresh vegetables and cooking over a hot stove! It was wonderfully made with love and I thought about that until the very last morsel :) I can't wait to try brunch!! *insert dancing girl emoji* I would deffy
This place was amazing! I came here from out of town and had a server named Daphne(I apologize if I ruined the spelling) and she was amazing! She was very attentive and the bottomless memosas were amazing. I would totally recommend!
Ms. Teggie what a wonderful palce you have! The Service and Chesapeake Benedict both were awesome and delicious!!! Came all the way from Maryland just to have brunch.
Great spot for casual brunch with friends on the weekend. When I was there they had a pretty competitive price for bottomless mimosas
