Rappahannock Oyster Bar - Washington DC - Photo album

My partner and I stopped in last weekend for the first time since my go to was unexpectedly closed. Very grateful to have met their staff and tried their food. Will be back soon! Amazing bartenders and great service. My partner enjoyed the game and I enjoyed their unique oyster shooters. Nice to see
Amazing first experience at Rappahannock Oyster Bar! The GM, Ryan, was super awesome and kind - he made wonderful suggestions and made me feel right at home. The bartender was wonderful, he always made sure I was comfortable/if I needed anything! The environment - clean and beautiful, right on the w
Oyster were great but pricey for oyster shots. Crab Cakes were excellent. Service was quick for a busy Saturday and loved the heated alcove seating.
This was located at the Wharf near the waterfront...another D.C. place to go. I went during the afternoon hour, had drinks, raw oysters, a very special caesar salad, ceviche that came with crispy plantains, which was a nice touch and the ever so yummy shrimp and rice. It's not JUST shrimp and rice.
Overall I really enjoyed this place. Atmosphere and service are tip notch. I had their seasonal beer on tap and it was very good. I ordered the seafood fry basket. The flavor was good, especially the oysters. However, the portion for the price was very disappointing. Was 85% fries with 4 shrimp and
Satisfying simple seafood options in the waterfront. They are not trying to be more than they are and what they are is pretty damn good. Get the oysters. Enjoy the view. The music is always amazing- and the speaker in the spacious bathroom is a personal party scene🤣. Good food with good food!
Really great experience. Had the Strawberry Punch, and it was really refreshing. Also had the fried oyster and shrimp combo. While it’s just fried food, it’s awesome. Flavorful, crispy, and juicy (?). Raspberry cheesecake for dessert. The sun was hitting us, and they moved us no problem, so po
Details are all in the photos, came for Drinks and Oysters and I left here satisfied, full and happy lol. I'm from Boston so you know this was heaven for me. Everything was on point from the food to the servers, bartenders are pretty social and the view is amazing.
Had a really great and refreshing lunch at Rappahannock oyster bar. Staff was amazing and they place was very clean! Plenty of out door seating and and indoor as well. We of course started with a dozen raw oysters which was good and very fresh. Next we had the Scallop Carpaccio which was very good!
Started with 6 raw oysters then finished it off with scallops and pork belly. Everything was delicious and prepared well.
The shrimp fry basket was spot on - probably the best fried shrimp I've ever had. Wish I would've tried the oysters - they looked marvelous. My niece ordered the scallops, and she loved that dish.
Everything was really great. The service was excellent, we enjoyed how knowledgeable the server was about the menu. The food and drinks were well prepared and presented. Looking forward to another Sunday lunch at Rappahannock!
Great service and we were quick to be seated even on a Friday night! Food and beverages were all amazing and worth the price. Great place for a classy date or hang out on the wharf.
It’s our first time eating here for lunch. They have a nice outside courtyard type room. The staff is nice! Everything we ordered we loved! I’m a snooty food eater (clean, gluten free, organic if possible) and loved it all. I had sangria (which I requested less sweet and it was perfect!), the cho
Enjoyed an evening on the patio of Rappahannock Oyster Bar. The crabcakes were very good, as was the atmosphere. Located on the wharf, the patio offers great views and people watching opportunities. Fun time and highly suggest for a casual night out with friends.
