Surprisingly impressed. Popped in for a quick bite, since the zoo is essentially a food dessert. Bartender was very nice and the blues music was relaxing. All great, but what caught me off guard is the fact that their chili was probably some of the best I have had in the district. At 10 bucks (avg) per plate, for a decent helping, prices were fair as well. Otherwise this bar is your typical dive, no frills seating, and typical beer selection.
Everyone was happy with their meals, which included beef brisket sandwich, kid's mac-n-cheese, "The Cheddar" (grilled cheese), and kid's cheeseburger.
Still the best place in NW DC to see live, local blues
