Pica Taco

I've been eating here for years and have never been disappointed. I stopped by to grab some carryout today, my usual order - a chicken burrito supreme. Once again they nail it. The food is every bit as good as it's ever been, the portions large and satisfying. The staff is always friendly and great. And while restaurant prices have increased substantially over the last couple of years, this spot remains a great value, square meal, square deal.

I was so relieved today when they let our team leave early for the Friday. So a few guys from work recommended his small little Mexican restaurant tucked away right off of Florida Avenue, and zi thought that today would be the perfect time to give it a try! After all I got the Latin fever! I wasn't sure about what most of their menu items consisted of, and the prices were not clearly displayed either. It didn't matter to me though, I determined that the best course of action was order Mexican food that I was accustomed to. I got the soft chicken tacos, three if them. It didn't take long at all for them to prepare this, and to my surprise it included all of the toppings, like lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. Even though I've never been a huge fan of onions, I managed to pick a few of them off, and it was absolutely deliciousness!

Recommendations from a DC local lead me to Pick Tacos and the food keeps me coming back time and time again! Pica is my go to stop for dinner after a long day of flying. Their chicken tacos on corn tortillas are fantastic -- as is their chips and guacamole. They do have some seating in the restaurant, but I've mainly see people ordering to go or using door dash. The staff is always friendly and the food has always been fresh.
