Shut up and go here. Took me back to curries and biryani from India. Absolutely fantastic food. Great portions and value. Owners and cooks are sweet as can be. Wish I could eat here daily
Delicious. Seriously delicious. Chicken biryani and tandoori naan. Price is incredible for the enormous portion and that flavor— wow. Spice is flavorful, little touch of heat. Like a little love tap for your mouth, nothing over the top. Much more mild than a standard “buffalo wing” type heat if you
I have eaten here maybe five times now. My Favorite dishes here are the chicken and spinach (saag), and okra. _---------- The food is good and the prices are affordable. I tried it as takeout last night for the first time and I ordered chicken and spinach for $12, eggplant for $10, and a chickpea si
This place is a hole in the wall but serves some of the best Indian food in the city. I’ve had the lamb chops, goat curry, and lamb saag and all of them were fantastic. Lamb was cooked perfectly and the serving sizes are generous. The garlic naan is stuffed and crispy. For sure I’m going to be a re
The atmosphere is not the best, but the food sure tastes darn good. ~Plates left empty.~ It's suggested to take out. But if you dine in, they will take care of you.
Listen to no one else: this is the best casual Indian in all of DC. The food is phenomenal. The naan is made in-house and delectable. Butter chicken is out of this world. Their channa is excellent. The yoghurt / raita is excellent. It's true Indian food takeout. Very large good variety for vegetari
Unpretentious place. Had two veggie samosas that come with two sauces and chick pea soup. Everything excellent and for only around 6.50$ more or less. Recommended for a cheap eat!
Food was pretty good, but the place is not clean, it smelled pretty bad. That definitely impacted my appetite.
The only place I oder takeout from in DC. I get the vegetarian combo of aloo gobhi and novratan korma and ask for it extra spicy and it's perfect every time- chef is great. Even the rice is delicious. Good portions, prompt delivery and they are always nice.
Probably my favorite spot for Indian food in DC. Everything I get here is always so good, and it's really affordable. My favorite things to get are the Chicken Korma and the Samosas.
Absolutely happy that I followed online recommendations for Sacrificial Lamb! Been out of the area for several years, living in a town with zero ethic food. ZERO! Lamb Saag is my favorite and this one is AMAZING! Thank you for the quick delivery and a happy belly 😊
The name of the place was the main attraction at first (we even asked why the name and the reason why is to mark that the meat is Halal). The quality of the dishes did not disappoint. I was happy with my vegetarian dish (okra or lady fingers, in a wonderful spicy mix), and my friends liked their chi
Gyro wrap? FIRE. Chicken salad? FIRE. Omar? FIRE. Came again to try out other stuff on the menu on the same day because it was that good. The green mint cilantro sauce is YUM. Definitely gonna be a regular here.
The Sacrificial Lamb!!! I dont know how this place doesn't have 5 stars. It's a dive but everything we tried was delicious and packed with flavor. Give the goat curry a go. Good naan and butter chicken as well. Staff is super nice, and the food was solid both for dine-in and take-out.
I must say: This is the best restaurant in DC area without a doubt. Everytime I have gone to dine in, the employees have acted with utmost professionalism. The food is absolutely amazing! I highly recommend the Lamb Biryani, and Lamb Curry dish. It’s very delicious. The prices are absolutely outst
This place is spectacular! Generous portions. Great value. for the price. One of my favorites is Chicken Biryani.
