Chipotle Mexican Grill

We had a team lunch at work today and we chose Chipotle GP. I was nominated to pick up the $100+ order. When I arrived, Aliyah informed me that they had a system failure and although they knew I ordered, she didn't have details on what exactly was ordered. I pulled up the receipt on my phone and she quickly grabbed a pen and paper to write down everything my colleagues and myself ordered! Honestly, it took a little longer than I had hoped (since I expected to be in and out for pick up), but Aliyah was more than willing to spring into action so that I could get back to my day as quickly as possible! Given the circumstance of the system failure, I was very happy that Aliyah was there to help me!

4.5 stars. We're fans of Chipotle as a fast food provider. My biggest complaint about the chain in general is the uneveness in service. We have visited Chipotles in many locations around the US. The assembly line method obviously gets repetitive for the line workers, who appear to turn off their brains. The slightest change in their routine, will too often result in an error in your order. That said, this unusually tiny location, I have found the service generally cheerful (which can make up for a lot), and more attentive than other locations.

When I was growing up in Vermont, I used to dream of the day when I would live within walking distance of a Chipotle. Thanks to the hard-working and friendly team at Glover Park’s neighborhood burrito joint, this Green Mountain Boy is living the dream. Generous with the fillings, and always happy to accommodate special orders, these guys take fast casual to the next level. Not your average Chipotle. Worth a special trip to Wisconsin Ave. Added bonus: free parking out back. Best Chipotle in the District. Hands down.
