We hosted a party during the Mission Navy Yard launch weekend - the space is incredible, the food and drinks are amazing and the staff couldn't be more hospitable. Highly recommended for a drink, meal or hosting a party!
Stopped during the soft opening period during MLB All Star week. The tacos were fantastic, the drinks delicious and the staff welcoming and friendly. This is a great addition to the neighborhood around Nationals Park. We’ll be back!
Brunch was nice. The music was loud but they were happy to change the tv to a soccer game. The burrito with carnitas was lot of food and the mimosas were strong (depending on the bartender). Overall a good option for bottomless brunch in the navy yard.
Came to brunch for our friend’s birthday! We were greeting promptly by our friendly server, Brett! He checked up on us often and made sure we were well taken care of. Food was tasty. I got the southwest salad with chicken. It had a good balance of acidity and saltiness. We appreciate you!
Excellent spot for watching the game. Plenty of tv's. It does get pretty crowded around the bar on gamedays. There is outside seating but there wasn't any table service. Food was good and fresh. Drinks were decent for a busy place.
A friend and I organized a birthday party at Mission's Cactus Room! It was amazing - a big enough private room with its own bar, balcony and restroom! Mission Navy Yard is great for casual events, watch parties and informal gatherings! The staff was just incredible and even offered us hosts a first round of drinks on the house! They waived off the minimum for a 75 person group such as ours with individual guest tabs, I don't know where else could one get such a good deal! Highly recommend :)
We had an impromptu family gathering dinner, we were lucky that we didn’t have to wait for table. First of all, we were surprised to find out that there were no chip and salsa for the table (where most of the Mexican restaurants do) and we had to order them. And the chip was not that good, they were pretty hard and thick, which is not what we expected for some home-made chip.
The food was okay overall, don’t expect anything impressive.
It was a nice ambience restaurant if you’re expecting a pub-like experience. But since we’re here for a family gathering, it was too loud and noisy for us to chat and catch-up.
Our food came fast, but our server was way too busy to keep checking in with us. I definitely will not recommend this place for family gathering.
As the go to spot after Nats games, Mission is well known for their drinks and tequila on tap. What you may not know is they have some delicious food to soak up the alcohol you consumed all day before arriving in their poppin atmosphere. Definitely recommend the nachos for a good app, and please order your tequila shots chilled
Mission Navy Yard catered an event for me on Capitol Hill and their staff was extremely punctual and super easy to work with. Everyone loved the food and Mission made it super easy for us to set up. Would highly recommend if you're looking for an easy place that can cater with great food. Dora, the Director of Events will definitely make it happen for you!
I hosted my birthday happy hour at Mission and had a great time! Setting up the group reservation was seamless and our server was very attentive! The music was also really good and I loved their margaritas and chipotle chicken roll ups! Highly recommend hosting an event here!
Great place to do almost anything... sleeping would be tough but if you're drunk enough. Haha. Great food and service. The atmosphere is top notch. They have a ton of tvs and they play all sports. Of course baseball is great with the stadium right behind.. however football is where it is at. Come out for some drinks good food and friendship. Leave with a full belly and Great memories!!! You will not regret coming here. Make this a stop on your next trip to DC. Only a few min scooter ride from downtown DC!!!
This place was phenomenal, my partner and I’s first time, was an AMAZING TIME. From the customer service, the drinks, all the way to the food. There is not one thing that you could complain about. Becca, was an absolute doll not only did she check to make sure the food was okay, and everything came out great (not to mention everything came out at a better than decent time) but she also engaged in a wonderful conversation from music, to her favorite items on the menu. I can say we will be back time & time again. It was absolutely amazing.!!!
