The espresso drinks at this cafe are aromatic and highly recommended.
The cappuccino foam is fine and plentiful, quite excellent for this type of cafe.
The staff is friendly and excellent.
It would be perfect if it were cleaner, as there are a lot of college students and it is messy.

MJ the barista is simply amazing... I went for the "Mother Earth" matcha drink, but stayed for the "Whimsical Purple" suggestion. 10 out of 10 for sure, and also proof that I am capable of drinking something other than tequila, lol.

Perfection in a bite! Coffee Republic Georgetown has raised the standard in terms of providing a really great coffee experience. Their commitment to obtaining the best beans, along with the expertise of their baristas, results in a cup of coffee that is absolute perfection. The warm and inviting ambiance makes it excellent for catching up with friends or simply relaxing with a good cup of coffee. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

I got the snickerdoodle coffee iced, and it was a little underwhelming. The Maple Scone, however, is easily one of the best desserts I've had in my many trips to DC. They were also nice enough to let us eat our bagels from across the street there.
