It's a place that had a very old jazz history going back to the '30

Very unique experience. The Prix fix food menus are pretty limited but the food was good. I came for a show and was very happy with the performance. The décor of the basement to look like a cavern is pretty cool.

Great under the radar place to watch live music acts (focused on variations of jazz, blues, etc). They offer the standard drink options along with serving up a full dinner menu.

Atmosphere was intimate and cozy. The upstairs greeter was amazing and can take a nice picture. Very courteous and accommodating. Amber the server was prompt and the food was hot and delicious.

I had never heard of Bohemian Caverns, but I went there with a friend recently, and it was amazing. We were early, so we waited upstairs for the doors to open. Our server was super friendly and engaging. They have comfy chairs and big TVs, so it was nice to just hang out. The downstairs was a bit cheesy with the "cave" décor, but nevertheless it still added greatly to the ambience and feel of a genuine jazz club. I tried their French fries and sangria martini -- both were pretty tasty, although the martini seemed like it was just juice and no booze. Our server downstairs wasn't quite as friendly and attentive, but it was balanced out by the incredible performance. (Seriously, wish the set would've lasted longer.) My only complaint (and the reason why I gave this venue four stars) was that when I reemerged above ground, I found that in those two hours I had been bitten by mosquitos over two dozen times. Not cool. They need to look into citronella candles or something, because it was absurd. Alas, still a place I would recommend that you check out -- just bring insect repellant with you!

Went here for my anniversary... loved the atmosphere, food was good, drinks were tasty... music was hitting...I took off 1 star for parking -- but, otherwise, the place was awesome!

I LOVE this place!! My girlfriend and I just moved to DC recently and visit this place almost regularly when we're not working of course!! The food is AWESOME though I don't really care for the lobster mac and cheese but to each their own. I'd certainly recommend the jerk wings and as a french fry connoisseur, their fries are not too shabby and make for the perfect munching accompaniment to their happy hour. Moreover, we've tried quite a few of their dishes and we plan to try their brunch one Sunday. Even further, they have an AWESOME happy hour with drinks equally as strong as they are pretty to look at, my favorite is the Ginger Sunrise martini.
