Tanad Thai - Washington DC - Photo album

Stopped by Tanad Thai for lunch over the weekend. It was a nice day in Fall with a slight chill in the air. The outside patio was open and we picked that since the temperature inside was like a sauna and I know we would not have survived the heat inside! The food here is quite good with decent port
While I am no connoisseur of Thai cuisine, I have always been happy with the selection offered here. There is good food for kids and excellent spicy (and non-spicy) curries to enjoy! The lunch menu Is always quick and well-prepared.
Total gem in the neighborhood. Probably the best Thai within a decent drive for great prices. Very good cocktails, again attractively priced. For the quality and quantity of what we got I would not have balked at paying more typical DC prices. Nothing bad to say, definitely recommend a visit.
My wife and I are always on the hunt for the best Thai food in DC and Tanad is a definite contender. If you're headed to see The Washington Cathedral and need a meal, stop into Tanad's. The staff are very friendly and super attentive (They were on their water game like no one else). The food is ver
When you eat Thai food, hot means hot. Good service. Great food. Savory as well as spicy. I've had the opportunity to eat in a few restaurants in the area and Tanad Thai Cuisine is a great option. Check out the daily special. Get your food extra spicy if you dare. If not, there are mild optio
Lip smacking😋 We have ordered the vegan lemon grass soup, drunken noodles and vegetable fried rice with thai green curry which were absolutely delicious... Enjoyed each and every piece of it. Who are interested in trying the vegan Thai food, then this will be the must try place. Go and enjoy the foo
I did take out but the restaurant looked like a nice place to eat. I would take the short walk from all of the activity to the north and head down there. I had two dishes (Chili Chicken and Red Curry) and both were excellent. They had tons of chicken but not so many veggies. If you like veggies then
I enjoy Tanad. I find the food tasty. I’m not much of curries, but I get rice dishes, because, well, I’m Latin! Their fried rice dishes are good. Typically not greasy. I like getting the duck dish, too, but sometimes it can be a bit dry. I understand; it’s fried and they do serve it with a generous
Fresh food with vibrant flavors, great lunch specials, and a well attentive staff. If you're looking to spend under $10, and get a good hot lunch in the area, this is your spot. If you're on a student budget/diet, you will definitely have leftovers for your study break.
Two generations of my family have dined at "Tanad Thai" since it was first named "4912" (its Wisconsin Ave. street address). We've love the place. Owner Tony knows my two-course luncheon favorite is always the pork-with-chili-and-basil. The sauce is consistently tasty, and the pork always lean wi
Yummy Pad Thai! I had them make it with chicken though instead of shrimp but it was still full of flavor. Ask for the chili condiments to adjust the spiciness to your taste. They also have affordable lunch meals.
We go there regularly for lunch and think it is one of the best Thai restaurants in upper North West. Although the lunch specials Re very good with generous servings, I usually go for one of their spicy beef or shrimp salads.
My husband and I eat here every week and it is seriously so good! The service is great every time and the curries, fried rice, egg rolls n drinks are delicious! Highly recommend!
good service! the dumplings were absolutely amazing. i took my boyfriend who hates thai food and he loved it! would definitely go back
**AMAZING FIRST ORDER!** When I made my first order from Tanad Thai on Eat24, I had two expectations: 1) that the food would be passable (I never truly believe four or five star ratings until I try a place myself. Call me skeptical. I'm okay with that), and 2) that the delivery would take closer to
Such a wonderful restaurant; the first time I went was with my father, a regular there, and both the manager and hostess recognized him, asked him questions, and I was introduced to both. They remembered his favorites and made excellent recommendations based on my questions. Highly recommend.
The new Tanad Thai in Tenley has tasty dishes and a warm and friendly staff. Tony, the owner, personally made us feel welcome, and did not hesitate to accept the current Scoutmob deal--he's fantastic. Check out my posted photos: my favorite Thai Iced Tea, Shrimp Sticks that are fun looking and fun
