Le Pain Quotidien - Washington DC - Photo album

I actually said, "mmmm!" on my first bite. I ordered the Avocado and Seed salad with a basil lemon dressing that was delicious. I was so happy to have healthy options available. It is hard to eat right while traveling. We did make the grave error of ordering at the takeout counter and then wanting
Very nice workers, cozy atmosphere, and good quality food. The one thing I don't like is that I feel that this price for coffee/tea/bakery is a little expensive and out of place for a metro station.
A civilized way to enjoy breakfast in busy Union Station. Excellent coffee, eggs, and bacon...plus quick service. Highly recommended.
Good selection of food and pastries. Excellent coffee. Counter service or dining available. Ample seating wraps around the back of bakery area.
This is my favorite stop for a bite in Union Station. I frequently go here but have found my experience varies on who is working. Some staff have been swamped with tables but still managed to exceed expectations by meeting my tight time requirement. Others can be rude and blunt when not necessary at
Very good clean food and drink. They keep changing their menu (they say it's seasonal) but they never bring back the amazing dished from the past. Lately the menu has not been that good and it's expensive for not amazing selection. They do have gluten free menu items and also one of the best lattes
The food is delicious, also the cappuccino. The staff was nice, but I saw a woman stand up of her table and looking for the waitress to ask for the menus and another man stand up of his table to ask for his check. The taste of the food is important but the service is the most important....
If you are looking to fuel your body for a long trip then this is the stop. I loved the selection and quality of food here. The coffee here is soooo good ♡ I got their beet and kale blends which was amazing, sandwich and quinoa salad which i loved. As a nutritionist I really appreciated the qualit
Management might want to step in during busy times but other than that? Great interesting dishes & coffee. My apple turnover was good but nothing to rave about.
The Union Station Le Pain Quotidien is a great spot to grab a solid breakfast before a train. The prices are pretty high, but the quality and freshness of the food is much better than most of the other fast food-ish options in Union Station. Good service, nice seating area!
So glad i picked this over all the other options. The mushroom frittata was fresh, hot, and satisfying. And they have quality matcha tea in their latte, AND a real croissant!!
