Good mexican restaurant. Authentic food and good drinks. Love the vibe of the restaurant as well Got the fajitas and they were pretty good. The tacos were a little bit better and had a lot of flavor. Although the corn tortillas were a little soggy and brittle All and all if you are in the area it
There's a lot of things that can make a restaurant great. Atmosphere, charm, service, and food (to name a few). This place has it all. The food is fantastic (I got the Al Pastor) and the sangria is on point (not many places get that right). The service was also fantastic. It's lame, I know, but I t
Great food and great experience. Staff was very friendly. Food was delicious. I don't have a picture of my poblano and corn soup but that was my favorite dish. Great flavors. Lamb (pictured) was seasoned perfectly.
Warning: I grew up in SoCal so I know my Mexican food! Corn tortillas are homemade. Carne asada taco had tasty tender beef. Pescado had an awesome mango slaw and crunchy battered fish. Elote loco (roasted corn) was packed with flavor. I basically ran through the happy hour menu and thoroughly enjoye
Great menu, food had great presentation. The service was good and the servers are very well trained. The open kitchen view was a very nice touch.
I stumbled across this place while visiting the city and it's Amazing! Happy Hour is basically like Taco Tuesday every day! The food was delicious and Kayla the bartender was great!
Came here after a terrible experience at City Winery and wish I would've went here in the first place! Solid drinks, delicious food on the restaurant week menu and fast service. Even left my keys here and my waitress flagged down my Uber and saved me a massive headache.
I’m going to be a regular of this place! The customer service and the food were wonderful! And the cocktails: OMG! Will recommend a 100%
Great food... Music and atmosphere could be a bit better
Land Puerto Verde is a great choice for dining in the Ivy City area. Went for dinner and got a few items, the puppy asado and the tuna tostadas (both pictured) everything was tasty and we got full service at the bar.
Pescado fish tacos are good. I would want a more durable corn tortilla though. But I will come back for chips and salsa.
Gourmet Mexican food. The 🌽 on the cob was delicious.
Chef went above and beyond. Enchiladas were amazing! Fresh salsa hit the spot as well!
Wonderful cute, cozy atmosphere and excellent food!! The service was excellent and I loved that it wasnt super crowded.
Food was excellent, and service was good. Great flavor! I'd return.
My love it here. Jay-Arr was are sever and he was the best. I will be back again and again and again and again. I hope you get the point lol. The staff is good too.
Had a great time at La Puerta Verde. Service was great as they very attentive, but not intrusive in case we needed our water glasses refilled and such. The 3 of us tried dishes recommended by our server and were not disappointed. I had scallops and shrimp on top of Chipotle flavored rice, my husban
Incredible food but the queso fundido and sopecitos truly stood out!
