Peregrine Espresso - Washington DC - Photo album

As of late my days begin with a morning run and a delicious latte from Peregrine Espresso. In addition to great tasting coffee, the service is friendly and memorable.
Very rarely you come across a business that is operated with employees who have physical disabilities and top of that make it look like everything is just completely normal. I was pleasantly shocked and surprised to know that the baristas who work here were hearing, deaf and hard of hearing. I swea
Coffee station in Union Market. I had the Marta Vasquez hot drip, a little sour for my taste but not bad. The latte my husband had was good, he said citrusy and nutty.
Good coffee but I didn’t love the hidden, mandatory 10% service charge on the receipt for a to-go cappuccino.
Peregrine has by far some of the best coffee in DC! The closest in quality to what you would find in Europe. The union market staff are always friendly, great prices for the quality. I highly suggest if you are in the area of any Peregrine locations and in need of a delicious cup of coffee!
Quick and easy to order. My latte took under 5 minutes to make and my croissant was delicious.
My husband and I are self-proclaimed coffee snobs, and it takes a lot to impress us - this was EASILY one of the best cappuccinos I’ve had from a coffee shop. After some research, turns out the owners also have their own roastery. There are lots of places to get a cup of coffee in the Union Market a
By far the best espresso I have had in NoMa, probably in DC. I stop here every time I am at Union Market in the morning and frequently buy their local beans as gifts for out-of-towners.
Have I had a better latte than the one I had here? If so, I can’t remember it. It was perfect. Friendly cashier, great vibe to this entire place.
My neighborhood go to spot. I like union market in general, but I’ve been a fan of peregrine even from the capitol hill location when I was living there. I am glad one is near by now. Good service and I like the fact this location time to time have disability attentive services and hires. It’s good
Latte=amazing. My latte did its job perfectly.
Deaf-friendly. The baristas all can use ASL. Just inside Union Market, across the street from Gallaudet's West gate. (it is important for visitors and newbies to note the gate is open only from 6a-6p. Union Market is hopping until way after that. We had to travel back by Florida avenue)
One of the best cappuccinos I've had in the DC area, without a doubt. It's not an over-sized 12 oz cup of burnt milk with only 1 shot of espresso like many of the chains serve you. This was a excellent and proper 6 oz cappuccino with 2 shots of espresso and velvety steamed/frothed milk. More coff
Great coffee, but their cups are defective and leak constantly. If you're going, ask them to double cup so it reduces spillage- especially if you're walking somewhere. Use the Joe App to order ahead so you can earn points. Very friendly staff.
Worth the wait, as it were. On my maiden visit to Union Market, I was in search of coffee, which led me to Peregrine, which, as I soon learned, is the only on-premises coffee shop - as evidenced by the massive line that greeted my arrival. But, no matter, because these things are good patience-buil
I ordered a latte here and it was absolutely amazing! I went on Saturday and it was super packed, so I thought that my latte would be rushed and not taste that great. That was far from the case! It did take a little longer to get my latte, but it was definitely worth it.
I was annoying and they were still nice to me. Good decaf!
