I love this Starbucks. I like to get here early for a red eye and breakfast. It’s across from the zoo (see pic) and blocks from Woodley Park and Cleveland Park (my old stomping grounds). Friendly staff if you get to know them!

This is my ‘local’ coffee shop. It is nothing fancy, but the service from Amir was excellent today. Starbucks will grind the pound of coffee purchased at COSTCO or Giant. The latte I ordered was a treat that I enjoyed while sitting with my therapy dog Bea.

Located right across the national zoo, this place is as busy as it gets. If you are looking for quick service, no this is not the place.

To paraphrase the words of Andrew Warhol, everyone is a star but only for a quarter of an hour. This raises a number of thorny issues; first and foremost, what do the other 45 consist of? We might check Instagram (for about 2 of those) and take a bathroom break (5 minute if we’re really pushing it). This leaves us with about 38 minutes remaining. Why not have a cup of coffee? At the very least, it will give us plenty to think about: what our 15 minutes were like if they’ve already passed, what they might be like if they haven’t yet or perhaps just the gradual cooling and eventual heat death of the universe.

I don't know how the baristas here stay so calm and friendly, but they do. It's pretty much always a zoo (heh), but they're always nice to customers. As a former (godawful) server, I admire their grace under fire because I'd be stressed as hell.

This Starbucks is so awesome! I order on the app and pick up my order once a week on my way in to the office (I only go in once a week since the pandemic). Over the pandemic, the manager (Tewolde) has learned my name and always remembers me and is so friendly! Today I was running late for work and he amazed me by bringing my order outside when I pulled up!!! He didn't even know I was in a rush. I couldn't believe it. He totally made my day. Everyone there is always friendly and kind and they do a great job. Thank you all so much!! It's these little things that make this pandemic more bearable.

Great customer service and amazing employees too. I came in on an afternoon and was served by Amir and Jorge, both were very kind and dedicated to giving me a great experience with the Starbucks brand. Will definitely come back soon!

I love Starbucks so my opinion may be a little bias, but the coffee is great. The staff were kind and the service was fast. Plenty of room to kick back and jump on your computer, do paperwork, or just socialize. Great spot!
