Friendly staff, good appetisers and hamburgers. The place is a great standard bar in a very alternative area.
Awesome time here with a few coworkers this past Saturday night. The DJ played a good mix of music from hip hop to the top 20. The drink specials weren't that bad either. I would come back here for sure!

AMAZING FOOD!!! We came up from SC. The fried Brie sliders are out of this world. The staff was so welcoming and a gentleman even gave my 3 year old a dollar from his pocket for my sons piggy bank. He was so sweet :) excellent drinks and a cool atmosphere. We will go back when we visit DC again. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

the Sunday jazz jam from 6:30 to 9:30 is a regular trek for me. I get to perform a little but also get to hear great jazz and meet a lot of great people among musicians, audience and staff. I haven't tried the food yet but I see a lot of clean plates when people get done with their orders.
I came here for brunch today for the first time and it was amazing, highly recommend it! We got the banana waffles with fried chicken and it was delicious!! The food was very fresh and tasted homemade. We were able to be seated on the rooftop and have brunch with a beautiful view. The service was great and everyone was so kind, definitely a really nice spot to check out for brunch!
Ahhhhh finally made it to Brixton!!! I've heard Tom's about this place but just never went. Upon arriving our IDs were checked and we proceeded to sit down at the tables in front of the bar. In order to get food or drinks you have to go to the bar for service. That's always a nice touch for me because its just straight to the point. We ordered a tall boy Tecate ($4) And 2 Angry Orchard Rosé ($5) both of these are on happy hour. The drink specials are really sweet ($2 off all draft beers and they gave a good selection. For food we ordered the Vietnamese brats (one beef and one vegan) and the tropical brat as well. The toppings were delightful!!! Omg I never would have thought to out carrots, salsa, avocado, etc... On a brat but it works. The experience was seem less and we were able to make it to out show at the 9:30 club as well. P.S if you have 9:30 club tickets then your happy hour is extended ☺️☺️☺️ nice touch

I really like the food, drinks and vibe here at The Brixton. The curry chicken samosas were really good and so was the spinach and crab dip!

Cool place to go dance and have a few drinks. The DJ seemed a little hit it miss with his song selection though. Loved the rooftop!
The rooftop has a great view with a nice vibe. The chicken tenders however, are extra crispy. Nice place to go for happy hour.
Went in on a Sunday and the music was great, the rooftop bar was pretty lit. I enjoyed my time with my friends. Def would recommend.
Love this place. I’ve only ever eaten on the rooftop but there are multiple floors. Food and service has always been great and the views while eating are a lovely and welcome addition. A decent selection of draft and bottled beer. Cocktails are also delicious.
This place was BUSY on a Wednesday and the rooftop was so much fun. The bartenders are attentive, and the DJ played a good variety of music. They had some very flavorful small bites (spicy crab dip was awesome). Dave, the GM, made sure service was up to par. Really unexpectedly great vibe.
Great rooftop spot..they are taking great steps to prevent COVID which I was impressed with including taking information for contact tracing. The drinks were quite small for the price but we ordered the Chicken Sharwarma which is quite large and enough for two to share. However Service was kinda trash ..so not sure I would revisit.
One of my favorite rooftop bars in DC. The location is really nice and I always try to bring my friends here, when they're visiting. There is plenty of room in the rooftop areas, with secluded enough booths where you can have your own private conversations if you choose to. The staff here is really nice as well, which adds to the experience. The drink sizes depend on the bar that you make your order at, and the prices are comparable to other bars in the area. One thing that I would suggest is that you never open a tab, just keep paying as you go.
Best Rooftop on U St! The bartenders are awesome and have good customer service. It’s a bar lounge and rooftop with 3 floors. Second floor is my favorite. The crowd that usually comes are between 21-32. Best part its free.
We were here for their new years masquerade party. Due to being a bit older than most of the patrons that evening we arrived a bit earlier which gave us full access to any of the 3 bars we wanted as well as spots on all three levels to relax and take photos of our group. For the price they had some very good appetizers which came around surprisingly often and they had some average drink specials but also an open bar for an hour at 9. The DJ was pretty good and we had fun dancing. It had been many years before now since I'd been there and we used to love their rooftop in the summer when they first opened. Worth going to especially for the rooftop.
I go here at least once a month on Sunday's for the Jazz Jam. The service is always really great. The atmosphere and vibe is very chill. The burgers are really great. If you're hungry get a regular burger because the minis will not do it. The fish and chips are good. I especially like the thick potato fries they have. I didn't have a good experience with the wings, however I did have a good salad on another occasion. On on trip my sisters were with me and the bartender was really great to my younger sister, helping her to find a wine that she would enjoy with her meal.
