Good bier, wide selection, great and beautiful service(even though she was not German)....don't miss the top floor biergarten as somehow we did...but there are great views of DuPont Circle from the bar on the 2nd floor.....

This place has amazing beer and a wonderful selection of food for everyone even if they're limited on their dietary choices for vegans like myself and the food and beer portions are so great for the super reasonable prices I love his place !!!

They have beer food, beer, and wine. The place is all stairs… so many stairs… pretzel is not bad. And at 2 pm on a Saturday, the mosh pitees come to drink and partee.

Enjoyed this spot for an after work Happy Hour. From what I could tell they have two areas, upstairs and downstairs, so they were able to accommodate a large group of 15+ without any issues. Decent food options alongside the typical bar fare. The pretzels 'by the pound' were amazing served with four dips - cheese plus sweet and savory.

Loved that everyone was singing with the band. Dancing was great, got sexier after midnight. Staff was helpful. Nice bartenders. They hid my friend's purse because they thought it looked vulnerable. Kept it safe. Pepperoni pretzel is yummy. Stayed all night. Younger group but we had some mid thirties, too. Band was great they sang for hours with a diverse collection of songs.

Really fun happy hour spot! Amazing pretzels and great beer. I wish they had more food options but you can just walk down the street if you get hungry for dinner.

The vibes are really nice here. Love how they have a middle area and roof top. Went on a Tuesday and they had open mic with music and a gentleman was performing with a great voice. The beers give you a brewery type of flavor they do not house regular outside beer as I was trying to order a Miller Lite. I instead got a Pilsner type of beer not a fan of sweet flavored beer so what I drank was near to the flavor of a Heineken. Definitely would come back for their Happy Hour.

I went to this place two nights in a row. It has a strong happy hour and tends to clear out after dinner. I was one of the few people at the rooftop area at one point. There are multiple floors here but they aren't always open. Be sure and go all the way up to the top to get to the rooftop. They have live music sometimes and they have a good beer selection. Different beers at different bars there.

We were there for a private event on the top level. Not sure, but probably 40ish people. Long bar, with I think 4 bartenders. A buffet on the other side of the room, and true to form bierhaus tables and benches. I was impressed by the music as well. Loud enough to create some buzz, but not loud enough to stifle conversation. A great mix too. One of our friends does playlists for parties at his Great Falls house. He was making notes. Would be happy to go back.

Great beer selection, fresh, and properly poured although if you are into proper glassware for things other than lagers you may have quibbles. Biergarten? Nah. More like beer hall slash sports bar, which is great too. It’s like one of those psuedo-Irish bar places but with German beer. Issues. Website says food served until 11. I was here at 10, asked for food, the bartender was surprised, looked in back for food and stated there was none. That’s totally lame Also, it’s Monday and website says open until 1. Last call was 11:45. Not cool. Keep your website updated…if you state hours then honor them. That said, the Monday all day happy hour was appreciated.

Popped in to watch some football. Kevin was super friendly and got the game up on the big screen for us. Great beer selection too!

Returned here for the first time since the pandemic. It is just like how I remembered it! I had forgetten how affordable a varied the beer options were. It is so great for groups too. Please note that you have to walk up stairs in order to get to the main floors.
