Nice atmosphere overall, though the music was a bit too loud for a nice reading atmosphere. Coffee and food could both have been better.

Super cute cafe, great service and drinks. Got the masala chai and it was delicious! Not sure how often they do live music but they had it when I went on a Sunday morning. Definitely will be coming back!

I love coffeeshops and this one might be my new favorite! It was the perfect setting to catch up with a friend and was exactly what we were looking for. It never got too loud and was very clean! The people who work here are the absolute sweetest, the books they've curated in the bookstore are perfect, the food (breakfast burrito) is filling, and the drinks (chai and iced coffee) are great. The prices are reasonable and they have a wide range of books. They have some outdoor seating and plenty of indoor seating. The amazing (radical hospitality) that they demonstrate in the community is wonderful and I loved learning about all the impactful work that they do. Potter's House feels like such a staple of the community and I only regret that I don't live closer and can't go all the time. My friend and I kept saying that Potter's reminded us a lot of our favorite Charlottesville coffeshop because it felt so cozy and like it was made to be a gathering place for old friends. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

Coffee was excellent as were the breakfast sandwiches--scone was a little dry.

Stopped in here on a long drive. It was very worthwhile, the staff is super friendly. I got the chicken salad sandwich and the tea of the day and it was incredibly good. Lots of good smells. The store has plenty of interesting books to browse and a little community area while you're waiting for your drink and good

Quirky bookstore with a full menu cafe. Was busy with no tables available on a Sunday afternoon, which is a good sign! Somewhat limited book selection, but this isn’t your Barnes and Noble. Good coffee and lovely atmosphere

I’ve only been to one other coffee + book shop combo. This one definitely impressed me with its rustic / antique atmosphere but the coffee wasn’t the best unfortunately. I got an oat milk latte as usual. Good for casual dates, but make sure you’re not coming during a busy time because it’s hard to find a table.

This is vegan brekky bowl & sammie. Both yum. The bowl doesn’t have a cheese or bacon substitute so its missing a little umph the carnivorous version prob has.

I came for the coffee and Mac and cheese. Chill place. The vibe was full of social justice and community. The Batista just came back from a coffee competition and placed 13th in the nation. For a short time he was offering competition grade coffee, a bit pricey but totally it worth it. It was one of the best cups of coffee I've ever had. That Mac was the last order for the night and totally did not disappoint. It didn't taste like it came out of the box and had a creamy texture. I totally recommend.
