One of the best places to grab a quick breakfast if you want quiet in the morning or a fast lunch during the day. And yes this is the same Paul bakery you’ll find in Paris.
My favorite was the blueberry tart but they stopped making it a few years back, but I still love the prosciutto sandwiches.
Wonderful bakery and sandwich shop on the corner of 13th and K.
Worth a stop and visit. Varied options (both sandwiches and bakery items) available for your enjoyment.
Delicious, great set up and seating and a warm and friendly staff.
Fabulous corner French style coffee shop. Stylish decor without blaring music for a change. I ordered an almond croissant and a latte. Both items were excellent. The service was fast and friendly. I would return on a future trip to DC!
Love, love, love this place. Is it a little pricey? Yes. But this is DC and the quality is fantastic!! Seriously…best almond croissant I’ve ever had. The sandwiches rival what I ate when I lived in Germany and the coffee is very good. There’s also seating available both inside and outside. I would g
I had a great experience at Paul Franklin. I was extremely excited about the diverse options of sandwiches, salads, pastries and more. I went on a double date there which was great. They have plenty of seating and space to get work done if you’re looking to study.
So many beautiful pastries to choose from! I had the almond croissant and it was excellent!
The selection of baked goods and sweets drew me in but the overall experience left me underwhelmed. The atmosphere is appealing but the ordering experience was unpleasant. I felt rushed and questioned at every turn. I walked up to the counter with my vaccine card and ID ready based on what I had see
Perfect place to pick up some higher quality baked goods for breakfast. Everything we tried was amazing and clearly freshly prepared. It makes the Panera down the street seem like a halfway house. My wife absolutely loved this bakery and we will definitely eat here again when we’re back in town.
Good location, Fresh and tasty filter coffee and perfect almond croissant.
Got an iced chai latte and cheese danish. So good😍
As we were trying to decide what to order, we were offered 2 of the mini chocolate croissants. They were DIVINE! The omelette was delicious and the quiche was very good
I had totally forgotten until last night, just as I was going to sleep, that Paul had branches in DC. Having visited the Paris and London branches over many years we scooted over here for a snack in between museums.
We ordered a slice of the almond apple cake and mille feuille. The former was kinda
Lots of baked goods and French style cafe items. I got the croque monsieur. Tasty. I’ll be back! Friendly staff. Covid vax card required to eat inside. No cash excepted.
