Buck's Fishing & Camping - Washington DC - Photo album

I finally made it to Buck’s Camping and Fishing, and I instantly fell in love with it. It is a true gem in DC. The food was absolutely delicious. The cocktails were excellent. The ambiance is intoxicating. Manager Courtney is a delight! Inloved my experience and totally get why Washington Post food
Lovely neighborhood joint with a Brooklyn vibe. Laid back, excellent food and interesting art. I had the steak, and the tomato salad, both were great. My companions had the burger, carrot dip and meatballs. The meatballs were too rubbery (over-ground) but everything else was great. The carrot cake w
Consistent, Cozy, Expensive. For a long standing neighborhood restaurant, this one leans towards the expensive side. It is a small space. So reservations are recommended. Try the bar area if there is only two in your party. Service across most restaurants has been impacted by COVID. Bucks is no exce
The ambience is so so pretty! I had chicken, my son had the fish & chips and my dad the small steak. All very very good!
Great service. Everything was great except the lasagna but the staff did everything they could to make up for it! Got appetizers, salad, burgers and chocolate cake and it was all delicious! Would definitely go back!
I had the Impossible Burger which came with fries and ketchup and I added cheddar cheese to the burger. The burger looked and tasted so real but it was definitely all plant based. The french fries were amazing. Our waiter asked if we wanted any ketchup, mustard, or anything else. I asked for the mus
Came here after a friend recommended it and will definitely be coming back! Our waiter was so incredibly kind and the food was exactly what we were hoping for! Drinks were yummy too, 100% recommend. The vibes inside are also so cozy and cute.
Great food and wonderful service!
Lovely place, great drinks, delicious seafood!
Had dinner on a Thursday. Great cocktails and delicious food. Service was attentive, but not overbearing. Bonus points for being able to hold a conversation at a 5 person table without having to shout.
Wow! The French fries are to die for. The fish melts in your mouth. And the butternut squash soup is delicious. What a very unique place. Canoes in the ceiling, bread on the table, very good.
I gave Buck 5 stars 6 years ago and I’d do it again today. The fried oysters are consistently outstanding - not an easy feat. Their cider (Lieu Cheri) is one of my favorites. Everything on the menu is great. It changes from time to time but not too much to throw off regulars.
Cute little mom and pop style place! Nice atmosphere, yummy food, good drinks and great service but a bit expensive for what you get which is why I gave it 4 stars. Overall I would recommend this place!
Food was great! Service not so great. No notification of service charge prior to meal as mandated by DC consumer protection laws.
This place slaps. We had the best dinner here the other week.
