Gypsy Sally's - Washington DC - Photo album

This is a great music venue but a bit confusing to locate. The "Vinyl Lounge" entrance is actually around back by the loading dock. There are two stages, and the one with free music is a very intimate setting with great views of the band, good service, and delicious food.
Safe to say we are the best band that ever played here, or anywhere for that matter. The smell of broasted cat flesh filled the air and reminded me of the joyful days I spent working at the laundromat on Targus 5. The owner was kind enough to teach us tai chi before dropping us off at daycare.
Amazing food and awesome music venue. Tons of great seats! Amazing place to 2atch shows!
Great venue. I saw a fabulous band, Morgan Heritage. The crowd and atmosphere was great. The staff was competent. I really enjoyed myself and will return.
What a fantastic venue! They consistently book quality, diverse artists that shine on through an excellent sound system. The food is tasty and the beer selection does not disappoint. Decent service and friendly staff. The adjacent Vinyl Lounge is a great place to meet up and listen to some class
Great music venue in Georgetown. Small enough to feel intimate but large enough to foster great energy from the attendees. Food was actually quite tasty too. Get there early if you want a table seat, but we were able to eat at the bar before the concert started which worked out great for the show. T
Great music venue and wonderful beer selection. I came last night to see a friend perform and was very happy with the entire experience. At the door the cover can be paid with card or cash. The bartenders were easy to reach and set my drink quickly. If you are a smoker there is an outdoor area. Real
alo at gypsy sallys was incedible. whether your a gigging musician or a concert goer, this is an awesome venue.
When seeing live music, the ideal venue is a cozy intimate place, where the musicians are right on front of you. Gypsy Sally's fits the bill. Probably seats/stands about 150. Since its small, its getting lesser known acts. But there is some good music going on here. The bar has a good selection
There are 2 spots to hang out, the Vinyl Lounge and the larger restaurant & performance area. The Vinyl Lounge has a great 60s vibe, with framed photographs of Grateful Dead musicians and a nook for small intimate performances. The larger restaurant has tables, stage, bars, dance floor and servers.
