Arepazone - Washington DC - Photo album

AMAZING! I first tried them at a pop up event that they were at with a bunch of other vendors. While at Union Market I remembered how delicious they were the first time I had them and HAD to order. Again, DELICIOUS. Highly recommend!
Really good food and amazing customer service. Love the friendly energy and the shredded beef is to die for. The cheese sticks are also pretty nice as well.
What a cool place! I saw something I'd never seen before, thought I'd try it. A Patacón. Yummy!!!! Chicken, beef and/or veggies with avocado and other salady stuff, between two fried plantain slabs. Huge. Split it between 2 people if you want to eat light, but this was soooo delicious!
Really good and crazy filling. Highly recommend the mozzarella sticks and the green sauce.
Amazing, for 6 bucks a nice size and delicious. They have vegan options too. Love it and will return with family and friends. Highly recommend. Customer service is so welcoming and warm and have no problem taking their time explaining the menu
Been several times since they've opened. A staple destination for a work lunch out. Though service isn't especially quick and lines can get long, definitely worth the wait. I've ordered various arepas, mini combo, and the bowls, but my favorite is the Patacon. Great portion of food, well prepared. C
First time having Venezuelan food and it is amazingly good and delicious. I picked up my order at 645pm on May 12 and was met with very friendly customer service. I will def. come back when visiting.
Super good food!! Almost the same taste as if you were buying it in Venezuela. The staff is friendly and very well trained. I would recommend this place if you want to try something new and for an informal occasion.
Love the cachapas. Usually get the beef and chicken. The corn dough is a nice mixture of crispy and soft. It's sweet flavor goes well with the cheese and meat. Their chocolate tequenos are delicious as well.
Arepas, tequeños, cachapas, patacones? I'm all in! Came to the Union Market and with soooo many food options to choose from my eyes and heart went straight to the Arepa Zone. If you want some delicous, gluten free, freshly made, DELICIOUS Venezuelan food, you've come to the right spot. Their cachap
Been in love with their food since I first found their food truck. If you haven't tried their food yet you are not living life correctly. Go get an arepa from them right now, and while you eat contemplate making better life decisions. Like choices that include regular trips to arepa zone. 😁
The Arepa Zone in the Union Market offers some pretty good Arepas at a decent price. Both the Arepa's me and my wife had were executed well, and the service was top notch. If you are in the Union Market or the area, I'd definitely recommend checking this place out.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in DC. I've had it food truck style, pop up style, and at their new store front downtown. Everything on the menu is delicious but I recommend the tequeños and the patacón. Delicioso!
Having a Venezuelan wife, I have come to love Arepas. That being said, we have been to the Arepa zone tuck many times and to the warehouse location in Fairfax and the arepa's are amazing. The last time I went to the NE DC location, the outside was a bit over done and made it kind of tough to chew.
Wish I could have gotten a picture but devoured the dish so fast🤤. This was my first experience with Venezuelan food and they did not disappoint. Highly satisfied customer here.
They have the best arepas I've had, with good vegetarian and meat options for around $7/arepa. The rice and condensed milk blended drink they offer is fantastic, too!
Um um good. I enjoyed the cherry blossom doughnut.
