Au Bon Pain - Washington DC - Photo album

5 stars for a sandwich shop. Outdoor seating. Indoors is clean too. Warm sandwiches were excellent. Fresh bread. They don’t ask for a tip on the checkout machine.
Great food! Went there on a Friday morning. Too bad they were closed on Saturday, or we would have gone again. I loved the oatmeal.
Fast service. Great coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Right next to the FBI building and enough parking. The meter take bout coins and card. There is also a garage near by if you’re driving. A lot of great options to chose from.
A lot of different breads to choose from to prepare your sandwich, bagel or croissant. Different coffee flavors, fruits, bakery and soups. Prices are very accesible and it’s very centric, it’s near the museums.
They move u through the line quickly. Food is delicious. Tried the sandwich called "The Good Egg" and its delicious. You do need to be careful of how you eat it because it can slip out of the bread. They dont have a big variety on hot teas though.
This was my first visit to any Au Bon Pain. You can order a made-to-order item at the counter, but I elected to self-serve with a bagel. It was very easy/quick, restaurant was clean, and employees friendly. If I'm in the area again, I would pop in for breakfast again!
Get off the beaten path and away from the food trucks. A solid place for coffee ( varieties) and a danish or a breakfast goodie. Break the Starbuck's habit. It's just diabetes in a cup. And it's across from the FBI building. ( A lot happening there.)
This place has a more limited menu but the convenience of having the sandwiches, soups and snacks available for quick pickup was a plus. No need to wait in line if you didn't need anything made to order. My food was great and the fruit was sweet. The entire meal tasted fresh and was super quick for
Came in with a big group for breakfast. Food was inexpensive and wholesome with a good variety; bagels croissants and pastries, fruit, oatmeal, parfaits, prepared sandwiches, etc. Great service from one employee in particular, a few others less so.
We visited this place for breakfast around 10am and their croissants were delicious (I had a ham/cheese one and also a chocolate croissant), however, they didn't have enough food for our party of 8; it was strange that a breakfast place/coffee shop would run out of croissants before noon. When we as
Goid food and good service. No gluten free options here
Relaxed atmosphere. Not fond of the sandwich was too cold, but the soup tasted good and was more affordable than surrounding restaurants. Comfortable seating, fast service.
Very clean and delicious premade salads. The lay out is a little confusing, I didn't see the cashier at first and then didn't see where the utensils were. I had to ask for directions two tomes before I found each.
5 ⭐️ for FOOD Didn't care for the atmosphere of the place and the workers were slightly rude. But the food is priced decently & SUPER fresh (sandwiches are made with freshly cut veggies). Got the warmed chicken avacado sandwich (comes with 🥓!) & a pumpkin pie latte All of it is delicious :) More of
