I ate at the cafeteria and will next time try the restaurant. I was beyond impressed with the quality of the food and it was extremely satisfying at a great value. I tried the duck confit with two wonderful sides and fresh bread. I was so full that I couldn’t even begin the dessert and was able to take in a box. Friendly service. Nice soup, salad and sandwich options but I tried the hot meal this time.
Absolutely worth the trip. Contemporary French lunch with fantastic entrees and excellent pastry. Affordable and quick. Getting a dining card was a breeze, highly recommended.
All the bakery items were delicious. You find the taste of France 🇫🇷 here. They have sandwiches but I didn’t try any so no comments.

Such a great experience. The food is amazing, the team is just awesome! The fact that this hidden gem is inside the French embassy shouldn't let anyone wonder if the can access it or no, as everyone is more than welcome here, from any nationality. The prices are just unbeatable in DC for such quality and the $20 menu option (starter + main course + a glass of wine) is for me the best price/quality in the city. The food really taste like fine French cuisine and definitely reminds me of my home country. The team is absolutely nice and full of attention. I went with my parents to celebrate my mom's birthday and they did a special desert for her when they knew it, without asking.
Best french food in DC, it is absolutly amazing :) Service is perfect, very wide menu of wine, very good recomandations for food. For me, the best secret place in Washington if you want to have a business lunch or a romantic tête à tête :) I love the pastries of Chef Mark !
A great find in NW Washington. Located just inside the French Embassy, you will be treated to creative, fresh, French cuisine. The service is amazing and the overall ambiance is very welcoming.
