Taco Bamba - Washington DC - Photo album

This is one of our go-to spots for a cheap, quick, and delicious meal. The tacos, are creative, large, and delicious in almost all cases. 2-3 is enough for a meal. Margaritas are great too. I recommend getting a couple of the classic tacos, as well as a couple of their specialty ones. The specialty
What can I say, I love this place. If I’m not here once a week, I’m here twice a week! I was excited to finally get a legit taqueria in this part of D.C. They serve amazing tacos and tostadas. Here are my favs: Barbacoa Tacos Sid Vicious Fish Tacos Huevos Rancheros with Chorizo Carne Asada Tacos Ri
If you are looking for authentic tacos and flavor, this is the place. The experience was great! However, if you are ordering adult beverages you must order at the bar and food at the counter. I would consider this as a fast food experience, you sit yourself as a table opens up. Guacamole is extra a
Some of the best tacos and nachos of my life, at a great price. Cashier and bartender were super friendly. Atmosphere was chill, great place to hang out. The chipotle portobellos, shrimp, duck, and steak were all incredible. The margaritas were top notch. I wish I could go here every week. They have
Fantastic quick bite. Stopped by before a concert at Capital One Arena with friends and we had our food minutes after ordering. Everyone's food was to request. Delicious tacos. Nice seating selection, clean tables, clean restrooms.
This is a great casual place to get tacos. They have some vegan options marked on the menu. Gluten options are not marked on the menu, and the cashier didn't know which items had wheat. She checked in with the chef and said I would be fine with my choice on a corn tortilla. Tacos are small, cashi
Taco Bamba is by far my favorite restaurant to buy tacos in the DC area. Unless there's another taco restaurant that wows me the way this place did, then I'm getting my tacos here! The exterior is very inviting and it's a rather spacious area. I ordered the Sid Vicious Taco and T'NT Taco. The good:
Great taco place, affordable in comparison to DC fare. 4 different homemade salsas, all great flavor but only one somewhat spicy. Spent $29 on 3 tacos, 1 michelada, and an order of chilaquiles. The tacos are on 2 normal size tortillas, easily can make each taco into two. The michelada is can size bu
This is my all time favorite restaurant to get tacos. I've tried almost everything on the menu and it is all very delicious. They use authentic and fresh ingredients that are seasoned really well. It is often very busy during lunch time but the food doesn't take that long to be prepared. My favorite
Super cool find! We were at an event around the corner and found this spot on Maps recommendations....great great find. They have customized tacos, non-tacos, nachos & more. The staff was friendly and the food very tasty! I had a Royale which tasted like a cheese burger in a wrap....AH-MAAAZING! Aff
Where to start. The variety of classic and original tacos is absolutely delightful. One taco better than the next. But this place is not just about tacos, try a torta, try ALL the salsas, have a beer, be merry.
Taco Bamba has the best tacos I’ve had in DC. I tried the duck carnitas, the breakfast taco, and the shrimp (all $4.50 and huge). All three were amazing. The $6 draft happy hour margarita was delightful. Brad behind the bar has aces customer service!
Taco Bamba was reasonably priced and delicious. The atmosphere is definitely no frills but that's quite alright with me for a taco joint. Would also recommend their bar area if you want to host an event and don't mind a little lively noise throughout the restaurant.
Excellent food and variety of unique tacos to try from in DC! Best taco place I have ever been to eat and the vibe and environment in the restaurant is great. Good music playing always and staff are wonderful and helpful. Also, chef and manager are awesome to meet!
This place has really good portions on its tacos for $3.5. There are so many selections and options and combinations! The only downside is during happy hour +1 hour, it’s so busy, a table is frustrating to try get. But by 8pm it dies down enough to get seating just fine. Photos as of December 201
Some of the best tacos/ nachos in town. I have been to numerous restaurants and taco spots and this is now one of my new favorites. I had the steak nachos and the shredded stew chicken tacos. The margaritas were also great. I will be back again.
The food here is just so spectacular. So above anything that calls itself a Taqueria, or even any Latin inspired restaurant in the entire DC metro or for that matter, anyplace I've been! Do yourself a favor, if you are near Taco Bamba, just go. There is no way you will be disappointed !!
