Chinatown Coffee Company - Washington DC - Photo album

I wandered in for a new place to try, and was pleasantly surprised. Ordered a latte and had a smooth, delicious cup. I even went back into the store after I'd walked a block away shopping my coffee so I could but a bag of their freshly roasted beans to take home. Great staff, clean store, warm but s
Overall an excellent coffee shop with highly knowledgeable baristas. The only downside is it needs slightly better lighting. But I thinks it’s a great place.
Best coffee in the neighborhood, great space and light but could be improved with warmer furniture pieces like a couple couches or chairs with some fabric to them.
I thought I knew good coffee, then I found this gem of a coffee house. Very knowledgeable staff that are passionate about a wide range of topics. Happy that I have this place to add to my morning routine.
Excellent coffee. Great hand pours, which is typically what I go for. Baristas are knowledgeable and very friendly.
I finally got to try the coffee here. I have to say it was decent espresso. Staff could not have been more friendly. They helped me choose a fantastic coffee for my friend's birthday. They were able to ground the coffee so it will work with a French press. The coffee is a bit pricey compared to othe
Beautiful brick wall and long communal working tables. The staff is kind and friendly, and the tea and coffee are delicious.
Always knowledgeable about their own product and everything else going on in the neighborhood. If you're lucky enough to be there during a lull in the rush when they have a chance to talk you can learn a lot.
Kind of a little hidden gem that you might miss if you’re not looking for it. Very small space but really what I was looking for this Saturday morning. Employees were very friendly and this place seems to attract a local crowd. Ordered a mocha and scone which were placed on the bar in less than a
They have Kyoto style slow drip cold brew! It's hard to find, but it creates amazingly strong, smooth, and flavorful coffee. It is significantly more expensive than regular coffee, but it's definitely worth trying. I like to have it on special occasions. The decoration is sparse, industrial, and mod
My only complaint is that I didn't discover this place sooner. What a great coffee shop! It's very modern and hip, but without trying too hard. There are a few seats, not too many, and they have excellent coffee. I also tried their yogurt and granola and was amazed how good it was! Also, one of the
Great coffee and a nice homely feel. I especially love their espresso choices. Only problem I personally had was the lack of seating space. Very few places to sit if you choose to dine in. It doesn't help that when i visited, more than half of the people there were just sitting around on their compu
Some of the best coffee in the city. Small selection of pastries. All espresso drinks served in appropriated sized porcelain cups. Are they a little...particular? Yes. Totally worth it. Fairly small place but if you can grab a table, a good place to work for a while or meet a friend.
Very very nice, chic and industrial feel. A club of artist's, from the baristas to the attendees. Clean, and good seating. Free WiFi, that works. Great coffee, the true essence of a play as this. However, I would recommend The Potter's House, in Adam's Morgan, over this. But, I would regardless rec
One of the better coffee shops in DC proper. Much hipsters populated. They use very good roasted beans (some from intelligentsia for example). Good staff/ baristas behind the counter. They offer some select baked goods along with chocolates. They have an affinity program with a certain special on sp
Great espresso. The attention to detail in this tiny, hole-in-the-wall coffee shop is impressive. Their baristas are well trained and very friendly. They have a variety of coffee options and make excellent use of their space.
Excellent coffee, great service , and good location. I am not much of a fancy-coffee-drink consumer, so I can only attest to their basic coffee, but it is fantastic. Everything I've tried from their baked goods is also top notch. For those interested, they also have a small absinthe menu.
Great place to sit and get job done, meet with clients or just hang out. Coffee tastes great and ALL employees are very friendly and chill. Owner, who happens to serve me sometimes, is also very friendly and open. Always a pleasure to come here!
