Across The Pond Restaurant & Pub - Washington DC - Photo album

I went to this place because I wanted to watch some football women's world cup and South Africa was playing. The bartender agreed to switch it on for me thank you for doing that for me. I also enjoyed the food I had the chicken curry that was so delicious.
We stopped in on Friday afternoon and were greeted by Shae, who took great care of us. Great service, great drinks, and great gluten free options!
Some of the best beef stew I've ever had! 1000/10 would recommend
Great little pub in heart of DC. Food is hot, tasty, and exactly what's needed on a chilly winter day. Also have gluten free options. Service is phenomenal. Highly recommend.
We ate here twice on our visit to DC, once for dinner, and once for lunch. The food is delicious. They use a gluten-free batter, and even though I don't usually eat gluten-free, their batter was so tasty. Highly recommend the fish and chips, onion rings and Rueben. The spinach salad was good too.
Shae was a great bartenderess. She was thorough, quick, attentive and had quite a lovely personality. The lemon pepper wings were simply splendid. Drinks at the bar were great and she made my time at Across the Pond an even more enjoyable experience. I will definitely be back to the bar.
The corned beef and cabbage was exquisite. The bartender/server was quite kind and sweet!
We had been walking around DC all day and we're just looking for a place to grab a beer and some food. We saw this pub and immediately knew we made the right decision when we entered as the bartender was playing 80s-90s glam metal music on a very impressive playlist. Food arrived quickly and cooke
The kitchen was suffering from some type of emergency but there were things that we could order and enjoy. Fried pickles? A different and delicious snack.
Shay is awesome!! She single-handedly served a full bar of people, as well as the table tops and back-of-the-house tables! The food is great, the drinks are strong, and the service is top notch.
Our first stop in about a year ago, the place was packed for a game. So we came back at a later time and ATP didn't disappoint. Very friendly servers and bartenders - they truly go out of their way to make you feel like family. We now look forward to our stop here when in D.C. And it's the best plac
Fantastic, authentic Irish pub. The cottage pie & beef stew were delicious as well as the bread pudding. The staff were busy, but excellent. Will be returning when we are in the area.
What a great wee place this is - Shay the young lady who was there on both nights we visited was so welcoming. In fact we went back for our 2nd night in DC ( on a 3 night break there, whilst on a tour from Scotland) to see her she was just so kind and chatty. What an asset ! And great beer and food
Shea makes this place worth it! She is so polite and attentive. I’m glad they’ve opened each day for lunch. Gives time for local workers in DuPont to pop in and grab a bite. Shea is amazing!
Shae is the best! So pleasant and friendly! She also makes an amazing Sangria 🥰🥰 Tried a cup of Chili UNBELIEVABLY GOOD. Prices are pretty norm. Fun atmosphere!
As a person with food allergies, it's excellent to find somewhere that has a reasonable amount of options. The food was great and the service even better. Look Shae up when you go!
It may look like your average neighborhood Irish Pub, but Across the Pond is anything but! I wandered in with 4 friends on a Sunday for brunch, and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff who also happened to be one of the owner, Gerry. The restaurant was half full and filling up quickly as th
