Banana Leaves Asian Restaurant & Sushi Bar - Washington DC - Photo album

I got some appetizers and their mango sticky rice is absolutely scrumptious! I also got a grilled lemongrass chicken to go , it was tender with smoky goodness flavor and the portion of the food were generous.
Pan Asian restaurant with pretty good Malaysian fare. Curry Laksa is very good but the chicken is not very tasty as it's boiled and then thrown into the Laksa so the flavor is not deep. The rest of the curry Laksa is very good. The Roti Canai appetizer is very good with fluffy pancakes and Indian
Indonesia Nasi Goreng Food. It's my favourite one and it's also yummy 😋🍛. I loved it 💜. I never thought that I will find in Washington DC, USA.
Ordered take out from banana leaves and had a great experience (ordered all vegetarian dishes). The star of the night was the red curry that seems to have more Malaysian flavors than Thai. Second favorite was the eggplant +string beans, cooked to be soft without being soggy. Both these come with ric
Popped in for a quick lunch. They have a large & diverse menu. Made it a bit tough to choose, but that isn't a bad thing. Steamed Vegetable Dumplings and Kimchi Tofu Stew was the perfect choice for me. The dumplings were flavorful, tender, & fresh! The stew was steamy & bubbling as it arrived at my
Wow what a find! Great place for a quick diner and some of the best Asian food I have had. The General Tao was incredible. Deep rich flavor and just the right hint of kick at the end. Wife had the basil chicken and loved it. By the way do yourself a favor and get the fried rice. It was the best I ma
Food is top notch. I was blown away at how good everything was. Would eat there again. Especially the lunch special - i had the thai basil chicken with rice and it was incredible. Service was fast & friendly.
Very pleased with my meal here. The service was excellent but unobtrusive. Salad and entree were extremely tasty and brought out in a very timely manner. I highly recommend this restaurant
This place is like a weird future restaurant. The ordering is done entirely online as if you are getting food to go but then it comes to your table in double quick time... and it's all delicious.... I mean all of it. I am always skeptical of 'pan asian' restaurants as I am afraid it'll mean they do
Fresh, abundant, great value for a fantastic business lunch. All the right flavors from across Asia. I love the wait staff and the different options that offer a world of flavors that excite the sprit , satisfies the stomach , and pleases the eye.
We dined in last night and had the most amazing meal. Our host was so lovely and welcoming. I only wish that we were local so that we could dine again and again. Thank you for showing 2 Australians wonderful hospitality.
Located one block from the Washington Hilton Hotel and Connecticut Ave. Elegant upscale Asian atmosphere. First floor sushi dining area and bar with an upstairs main dining area. Menu options are from different asian regions. Portions are small to average, tasty and a little pricy. Service is excel
