I'm not sure how this place has racked up so many service complaints.

Came here for a drink on a slow Sunday and got great service from the bartender. Locals started filling in and he knew what everybody was drinking. Had good prices for beer I got a Pacifico draft for $4.
Casual night out, for a game and a friendly chat over a cold one with nachos etc... quite nice selection of draught beer, and complimented by a friendly staff.

Excellent beer, food and staff. We are definitely coming back to Maddy's the next time we are in DC. This feels like the local hangout we have been looking for. Warning, nachos are huge but we had finish them. Just too tasty. I wish there had been room left for fish and chips.
So much fun! My mom and I came here for trivia and then went again just to eat. The food is INCREDIBLE. We got the crab dip and chicken quesadillas.......... Makes me want to move there to be able to eat there more frequently. Friendly staff, cool environment. Go eat there for sure!
Good food, Clean and simple place to eat or drink at the bar. Good burgers, not a drinker so I can't speak to that, they did have quite a list and the iconic Bud Light beer etc.

I've shown up twice before, hours ahead of closing time, and they were closed. No lights on. No one in there. Doors locked. That gets annoying espec
5 stars for the 5 nights in a row we stopped in, some nights just for a beer others for a light supper b4 retiring to our hotel a block away.

So good! Met my husband there for lunch today and the food and service was so so good. Probably the best cheeseburger we have ever had, and the shrimp tacos were just as delicious. I would highly recommend Maddy's Taproom if you are looking for quality food and a fun place to eat.
I like it. I live one block from Maddy's. Good though not gourmet food. A bit noisy as a sports bar can be. Fast cheerful service. Attentive after initial delivery ( something I notice). Very much recommended.
Decent beer beverage program. They have the majors plus some more specialty brews. Appetizers were tasty. Service was friendly but a bit slow at happy hour. Can get crowded if you have a group.
