Bangkok Thai has a cute little entrance with steps leading you down to the restaurant. The food was top notch. I am vegetarian so I ate the green curry with tofu and the basil fried rice which was delicious 🤤 My hubs had their chicken satay as appetizer which he highly recommends too! The vegetable fried dumplings were awesome! 😍💯

Update: this may not be the best restaurant for food allergies because I asked for chicken drunken noodles without egg, and they put the egg in anyway. That's not even an ingredient that is in drunken noodles and other restaurants. They don't even have egg listed as an ingredient in the menu for drunken noodles... Which could also be a problem if somebody has an egg allergy. Downgrading the restaurant from 5 to 4 stars ---- This is my first visit, but I'm happy to up the score if I have another good meal there. I tried chicken pas see ew and Curry puffs and both were good. The staff is very nice too. There is a little bit of seating outside but everybody needs to walk past it to get in. Sometimes they play music outside. I will definitely try the place again. Update: I ordered the masaman chicken and drunken noodles with chicken, both of which were very good. I will say that potatoes were undercooked in the masuman. These two dishes are in the photo. I've tried other dishes there now, but I always go back to the mass amount of drunken noodles. Yet another update, I've ordered the massaman a couple times since then, and the potatoes are not always that undercooked.

We really enjoyed this place. We had the Pad Thai, Tom yum soup, spring rolls, and a Thai chicken dish. All were very good. Great location and service was good. I would definitely recommend this place.

Wow did I love this place. The red curry with extra chicken was delicious. Pad Thai is most popular and they will make it without egg for allergy reasons. The mango rice dessert was a pleasant surprise.

Really great, cozy and friendly thai restaurant near DuPont circle! The food at Bangkok was excellent; I had the Thai green salad and Chicken Drunken Noodle which was wonderfully spiced and flavored. The staff was very nice, and the atmosphere was very cozy. Highly recommend if you like Thai food, and especially if you want a nice intimate restaurant without a lot of noise where you can get food without a long wait.
