Great food and fun atmosphere near the Capitol. We stumble upon the restaurant when another restaurant we were headed to wasn't open for dinner yet. We started with the jalapeño poppers which were good but not exceptional. I had the seafood pasta which was very good. My husband had the French dip which he enjoyed. My son had the Hawk pizza which he said was very good. We might not have stopped if we had read the reviews but are really glad we did. Overall, our total bill was less than most places we have eaten in DC. They did not add a tip as someone else implied. Great food. Great service.
The crab Reuben still rules. And the salads are good. Homemade croutons and Russian dressing
Great spot. The atmosphere was great, it was definitely a bit busy for the Commanders game. The food was on point and the bottomless mimosas were pretty good. Would definitely go back again.
Hawk'n' Dove is a very nice restaurant with a great atmosphere. The dishes are tasty and the portions are large. Also the beer we ordered was good. The service gentlemen are very polite and helpful. We recommend.
Second time visiting DC, there aren’t a lot of restaurants in the mall area, so we’ve ended up here both times. We’re very happy with the drinks, food, and service. My family of five ate here today and we all cleared our plates, everyone was very happy with their food. Two cocktails were great too! Fun music and atmosphere. They offer a military discount. Recommend!
Restaurant and bar have a relaxed atmosphere. Nice assortment of tvs to watch a game. The food was excellent as was the service. The fries were really good - crispy on the outside and pillowly soft inside.
Came in for a quick lunch. Had the pepperoni Flatbread. Wasn't expecting much, its pizza. Holy amazing food batman!!! The crust, the sauce, the pepperoni was amazing! Like, so so good! Can't believe I've been missing out. So much better then actual pizza shops! Hector was our server and was super attentive and all around amazing. This place is clean, efficient, friendly and reasonably priced. We will be back

The bartender was very nice considering the area was pretty packed. I recommend you visit if you are in the area or want to check out a happy hour after work on the Hill.
A nice pub and grill just off the tourist beat of the Capitol. Friendly, prompt service. Good salads, sandwiches and burgers.

My wife and I had a 24 hour layover in DC and decided to visit the restaurant, great location close the the Washington Mall. Great atmosphere all day Monday happy hour was great. Staff are friendly and prompt with your orders. I would highly recommend the restaurant.
Took my boyfriend here and was surprised by how affordable the prices for food and drink were (in comparison to the rest of DC). We visited on a Friday night while Congress was in recess so it was quiet, quick, and romantic. The food was great and definitely would visit again!
We were not crazy about the cookie but everything else was great! We both got drinks, an entree, and a dessert for around ~$70.
Food was good chicken parmesan need a little more salt and noodles just a hair over cooked. Salmon just right

I come here a lot for brunch. We really enjoy the quiet, easy-going atmosphere, the good is good too. We have had a couple blunders where the cooks do not understand what scrambled eggs cooked well done means, but other than that, it's still one if our favorite places to grab breakfast!
Stopped in for drinks and was impressed with the great service! Quite a lovely atmosphere with the mix of old and new, fancy and casual decor. Nice selection of beers and a full bar. Really enjoyed the delicious drinks too!
I went on a early Sunday evening with my wife and 10 year old son. The place was nearly empty at the time. Service and food were great. No real complaints. I wish they had a kids menu, but we were able to order off the appetizer menu to get chicken tenders and fries for my son. I ordered one of their house wine specials from their happy hour menu and it was excellent (I'm not fussy).

What a great bar and restaurant! A distinctly oak wood bar adorned with chandeliers for a perfect urban politically savvy DC establishment. The big screen TVs can be easily viewed from anywhere in bar or dining area for a perfect game day to a nice dinner experience with family, friends and colleagues. The bar is huge, offering a special whiskey array with local as well nationally popular labels. The food selection is excellent American fair with a twist cooked by a talented kitchen team...The service is excellent lead by Manager Antonio who is impressively attentive and polite as well as being highly knowledgeable about his menu, bar and staff. I would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion from game day with the boys to a business event or dinner with family and friends.
By far, the best chicken tenders and crispy seasoned fries we've had in town. Even my cat was lurking around as soon as we opened the boxes and he's hardly ever interested in human food. Next time, I'd love to stay and dine in the restaurant. It's big, clean, and the food has been great and affordable.
