Le Chat Noir - Washington DC - Photo album

Overall: 5.00. Tres magnifique! Le Chat Noir is as charming & chic as the food is scrumptious & artistically beautiful. Kudos to the chef & team. Impeccable attention to detail & presentation of dishes. While pricey, it’s worth the culinary “experience”. I relished every last bite. Strongly & enthus
I joined a friend for brunch at this restaurant over the weekend. Finding a parking spot was easy on the nearby side streets, and for those who prefer not to drive, the restaurant is conveniently located near the metro. Despite being a weekend, the restaurant was not very crowded, with only a few pa
Nice cozy restaurant. Lamb was great wirh medoc
I had first visited Le Chat Noir about 15 years ago, not long after they opened, and somehow had not made it back until Restaurant Week this year. And I'm glad I came back. The physical space is pretty small and bareboned. The closeness of the tables reminded me of bistros in Europe. It's not as co
I only ordered a creme brulee and a French baguette for delivery, the truth is that it feels authentic, the bread is delicious, hot with butter is out of this world and the creme brule delicious, I will definitely return to eat at the place to try their dishes.
Went late before closure but we were invited to seat in nonetheless. This is the first thing that made me love the place. The restaurant really looks like you are in France , from the decorations to the lighting. My wife had the bijoux de boeuf and I had le saumon danseur! Food barely took 7 minutes
Ignore negative comments about the service. The owner and all the staff were efficient, helpful and warmed up nicely with a minimum of effort. Challenged my 23 year olds regarding drinking age quietly and in french, accepting their oral assurance they were legal. Very nice touch. Crowded Saturday ni
Delicious, traditional French food. Frog legs stood out.
Had a great time eating at Le Chat! Food was yummy, and we tried the suzette en flambé which was cool! People watching was also entertaining. Overall great experience and hope to return again soon!
The best Quiche Lorraine I ever ate. My motivation and reward for walking from Friendship Heights to the Tenleytown Metro is to stop at Le Chat Noir for lunch.
How to go to France without leaving the States. It’s a great location . And always a good idea . Le meilleur restaurant français à DC
Bravo! Love this place. Have ordered a dozen times and been there in person once. What a consistently great, fresh, and flavorful spot. Thank you to le chat.
Awesome restaurant with great food and house wines! Shrimp brise is definitely to try since I've never even heard of that before.
Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! The mussels and thyme-rosemary French fries; the quiche du jour; the mushroom puff pastry; the chocolate mousse; and the cocktails. The fries in particular were outstanding, perhaps the best I've ever had. One of my top 3 restaurants in DC!
This was an absolutely superb experience. Fabulous stuff. Refined quiet, delightful. The food is superb.
Delicious French flavorful food, classic drinks and wine, fantastic ambiance. Really feels like you are in France. The halibut special was particularly “incroyable”.
Not only was the food delicious, the customer service was exquisite. The way we were greeted made us feel like family. The owner and manager welcomed us as if we were old friends. The restaurant has a very romantic setting with a lovely terrace to enjoy your meal--especially on a warm, breezy evenin
