Delicious Oysters and the Shrimp Tacos and Oyster Po Boy fried and seasoned nicely! The French 75 with Cognac is a MUST HAVE!
Staff was friendly and very attentive even though it was packed during Happy Hour. I only ordered beer and tried all 3 types of oysters. All three types were very different in taste, delicious all and super fresh. Thank you for a wonderful experience! I will definitely come back next time I am in DC
My boyfriend and I were very excited when we saw Rappahannock Oyster Bar in Union Market. They sell our favorite oysters, the Olde Salts. We sat at the bar and enjoyed oysters and drinks. Our service was excellent. We will be back!
Freshest oysters I have ever tried, I ordered shrimp tacos, the shrimps were cooked perfect, and you must try the crab cakes, it is full of crab meat, no fillers at all, a 100% crab cake.
Overall great spot and the “fanciest” food spot in the food market (not including the restaurant that’s connected to the food hall). Ordered fried oyster tacos, never had them before- they were simple and delicious. Wish it came with sides, but pretty good price for oyster tacos ($14, which comes w
Always a good meeting point at Union Market. Sometimes one ends here as well. Of course the oysters are yummy if not a bit pricey. Their food menu is limited but one can buy food from other vendors and bring it back to this oyster bar. Very helpful staff.
Tuna nicoise, tartare, caviar, cocktails.....all fabulous. Great flavors, balanced, and delicious. Service is friendly even when it gets really busy.
Excellent chowder on a very rainy day. I definitely suggest the grill oysters as well. Often hard to find a seat on weekends and has tables on a first come, first served basis. Has a cocktail menu and various wines and beers.
Happy hour M-F till 7 pm. Half price oysters, and other deliciousness.
Got their Rochambeau oysters and a glass of mimosa. The oysters are pleasantly briny and smooth and the mimosa is the perfect with just the right touch if bitterness with the orange peel they added to balance out the sweetness. A 5/5 no doubt.
