First time eating Ethiopian food. Oh was I missing out! Amazing amazing amazing!
This seems to be a local Ethiopian eatery where a lot of Ethiopians come to socialize. It was amazing sitting and watching them interact with each other as the come and go like family. I basically had a Vegetarian meal with injera and a samosa. The food was well seasoned and great as it should be
Gem of a restaurant in DC. Family-friendly vibes, incredible quality and quantity of food, and spectacular staff. Seriously, the "for 4" could probably feed 6. But don't let that stop you because the food heats up really well for a second go.
Tasty, great price, and has an Ethiopian sports bar feel to it (we did go during Sunday Night Football). Only minor complaint was that it sometime took some time for them to visit our table, but the taste and price more than make up for it!
Delicious Ethiopian food! The service was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful with the menu. We had such a good visit! It is definitely a cozy neighborhood spot.
Amazing food and customer service! They have Ethiopian wine and beers as well. This place is open late (until 1 am on weekends) which is definitely a plus).
Shisha is about 50 usd which is too much
Food was delicious! You can taste the many flavors and spices.
Great quality of the ffod and exceotiobal service. The ingera bread was absolutely delicious. Better than most places I have had. Would definitely recommend it. Just one thing, please call ahead to ensure they are open as the times were a bit different from the google maps one.
Quite good quality. Tried the veggie combo and it tastes really good. Restaurant is super comfy and the service is very chill and nice.
Staff was very friendly and really made sure we had an awesome dining experience. We got the combination special and everything was cooked perfectly and loaded with flavor.
Best Ethiopian food in the US. I sat at the bar and a regular patron ordered food for me. I ate spicy lamb, with sides of red and yellow lentils, washed down with an Ethiopian beer. If I lived in DC I’d eat there weekly.
In the heart of Shaw/Logan circle northwest D.C. stands a lively restaurant and lounge with so much tradition and a ambiance that makes you feel you stepped into Addis Ababa. The scent of frankenscence makes the room come alive and the environment itself is just full of love. Allow me to get to get
So good. We didn’t know what to order so when the owner came by to say hi and see how we were doing, we told him this was out first time to eat Ethiopian. He took our menus and said he would take care of us. We trusted him and were not disappointed.
Great Ethiopian food. Would definitely recommend the combos so you get a bit of everything. The staff where supper friendly and the service was really quick. I am definitely going back, it might be my new favorite Ethiopian place in dc.
