Popped in for a couple of pints & a burger before walking up to Capital One Arena for an Ovechkin game. Had a delightful time. It wasn't too busy for happy hour. The Dacha Beer Garden (at the time of my visit) served an array of products from the Weihenstephan brewery. I enjoyed the pilsner w a lime wedge. I guess that technically makes it a shandy? The outdoor setting was delightful. The decor was splendid and the service was prompt and efficient. Thank you! Food menu is pricey but nothing too absurd**

Went to an event in Shaw and stopped here for a beer and snacks. It's a real beer garden where you sit outside on long tables. Cold so they had heat lamps set up. The beer was varied and really good (I had a German pilsner purportedly from the oldest brewery in the world). The snacks were surprisingly good. Hip place with a lot of good vibes. Expensive.

Great deals, great drinks! Food is solid but not the reason to go. The atmosphere would make a German-American feel at home!

I had some of the best beers and sours i think i've ever tasted. Super cool ambiance. The Bavarian pretzel is so good.Great service. Great place for a date or gathering with friends. And great people watching. What more can you ask for?!?!?

Pretty decent beer garden that actually reminds me of some I visited in Munich.
It was pretty packed on Saturday afternoon. We had a few beers and enjoyed the atmosphere, definitely a younger crowd.
Staff were fine, had a bouncer at the door.
Did not have time to try the food but they had plenty of Munich style brews.
Worth a stop if you like beer halls for sure.

Nice venue, very cool beer selection. 15% added to all tabs as a service charge, noted as “not a tip”. Pay your staff what they deserve and price your food/drinks accordingly. Don’t hide your cost of business behind a quietly inserted charge on the tab. If your venue and product is worth it (and it is), I’ll pay the price. But it’s shady to sneak in +15% overhead. Be a good employer/business.

Excellent beer selection supported with good food, lots of space, & great service. We came with a large group for happy hour & I highly recommend for big groups but definitely call ahead. Dog friendly.

Nice place. Plenty of space on weekdays to meet people or just catch a breath, yet typically enough of a crowd to feel like you made the right choice. Super accessible for both Shaw dwellers and downtown workers, and friendly staff.

During a week's worth of meals in DC, this place definitely stood out. It was outstanding. Everyone had great meals, everyone had good drinks. The lay out is really nice. We were able to get a good table location and place. Overall highly recommend it!

I love Dacha so much. Just moved to DC and have been here too many times already - such a great spot for a big group of friends! Great beer options, fun non-beer alcoholic choices, and an amazing atmosphere. Waitstaff is great. Overall love it here!
