This was the Pret. Here, or maybe near, I became a Google explorer. I really like Pret as a company. They might even be an essential thread in the quilt of a modern, civil, city. I wish we had a few in Baltimore. Pret is also one of those places where employees are trained not to accept tips. No one should not to be able to accept a tip for excellent service. Now that the service industry has been turned upside down in DC by referendum, Pret should allow Laron, who who over filled my flat white and immediately made me a new one, to receive my gratitude for his excellent service. Thank you.

The bread is delicious, the lattes fine. However, staffs are not quite welcoming. And a little pricy.

This place does a pretty good job of feeling authentic, even though it is a chain. Visiting in the morning, you'll find yourself tempted by the sweet, buttery smell of freshly-baked pastries wafting through the air. I get that they are in a hurry during rush times, but the lady who rang me up today was in too much of a rush to even look at us customers, and one second after the purchase, she was calling the next patron up. For beverages, I do like their cold-pressed raw juices, and they offer a variety of flavors, like carrot, beet, greens, etc.

I'll admit it. I am a Pret A Manger fan. Yes, it's a chain, but it's consistent and their food is so good (and more affordable). This location is downtown DC near Franklin Square Park and a tab smaller, but still has all the offerings you'd expect in a Pret A Manger- a fresh fruit stand, delicious wraps and sandwiches for lunch, an array of warm pastries, and a coffee bar. There's indoor and outdoor seating to boot too! If you go in the morning, I recommend eating the 400 calories and getting a warm chocolate hazelnut croissant. It's amazing!

What's not to love? Clean, well stocked, friendly staff, fast service.... It meets all of the Pret A Manger requirements.... It's in the financial district of town, (which also happens to have quite a few hotels) steps from the Metro. Quick-casual... Ready to eat... Pre-packaged, but good... Tried the Moroccan lentil soup today (comes with tasty petite baguette) and was in heaven. Vegan and vegetarian friendly options. And, won't break the bank to boot. Yes Yes... Do try!

Used to be a lot better but still great! Back in the day, the baristas would punch my card all the time and joke with me, sometimes even give me the coffee for free when I was visibly stressed out since I'm a nearby student (my school is around the corner). They don't do that anymore which is a shame, I definitely go less now and recommend it less now, but not terrible. Still good prices for coffee in the area

This branch is my favorite place for lunch or coffee. I ask anyone who wants to meet me for coffee after work there. The lentil soup is the best and I love the focus on healthy eating. But what makes it really the best is the staff. Anwar and Mustafa have worked over a year at that location and are the best! I have watched them interact with the customers and they are consistently friendly and upbeat. It's a.cheerful environment for a a anyone needing a break from a long day at the office

Pret offers a wide selection of food in the go that satisfies my hunger on any given day. The staff at this location is very friendly and gets through the line quickly. The food is always stocked and warm or cold depending on the requirements of the item. Highly recommend if you are looking for lunch on the go, but don't forget about breakfast, that's good too!

This was my go-to place during lunch. The staff is always nice. They have alot of fresh items, but you must go there by 11:30 if you want to get the freshest sandwiches. The avocado goes bad here alot, so beware. Inspect before you buy.

My go to here is the Balsamic Chicken & Avocado sandwich. I try not to come here too often, because I feel really guilty for coming here since the sandwiches look like something I could/should be making myself at home. However, Pret A Manger never disappoints me. In addition to the chicken & avocado sandwich, I also really love the snacks that are available at the check-out counter. I usually purchase a bag of popcorn or some type of bar to go with my lunch.
