Very fun. Very French. Outstanding food and atmosphere. One of our best dinners in DC.

Good food! Average price. Wine per glass could be a bit better quality. Recommendable for eating.

Amazing French food in a beautiful restaurant. This place feels authentic, warm, welcoming, and the right kind of busy. The service is always fantastic and I eat here whenever I’m in the city. We had a group dinner so ordered several appetizers and bottles of wine. I highly recommend the French onion soup and escargots, as well as the mussels in lobster bisque. The house steak frites is always cooked perfectly and if you have time and space try to order dessert.

My steak was overcooked but I think it was just bad luck. I was impressed by the snails and mussels-- they were really good. Drinks and wine selection is diverse. Place tends to be crowded frequently so make sure you make a reservation if you can.

The rabbit stew was amazing! It was recommended to me; I wouldn’t of thought to order it. But it was so good! The meat fell off the bone. And the mustard sauce was delicious! Great wine too.

Everything about Bistrot Du Coin had us eat here three times during our brief stay in DC. Service was fast and friendly with the food served incredibly quickly. The atmosphere was celebratory each visit and the decor was fun, and the food was outstanding. My father-in-law shared if you are going try escargot, this is the place to do it; I did and they were delicious. The French onion soup, bibb salad, and goat cheese salad were all great appetizers, and every entree we had was outstanding, including the lamb stew, hanger steak, mussels, and chicken entrees. We went light on desserts with the creme brûlée being a nice, reasonable portion and delicious. The elderberry lemonade and and ginger beer were unique and tasty compared to all others I’ve had with both being less sweet than I had expected. The improvements that I would like to see are that the table bread is served either warm or cold every time, not one or the other (warm preferable), and the fries should always be hot which they were never for us. Merci, Bistrot Du Coin!

We spotted Bistrot Du Coin as we walked past and I'm glad we stopped to check the menu. I made reservations for the following night and we were not disappointed. The Moules a la Bretonne (mussels in a wonderful lobster bisque) was delicious, so flavorful and rich! The smaller portion was still enough for two. The Filet de Boeuf Poele was tender and it, too, was a nice portion. The meal definitely satisfied my craving for French cuisine. The restaurant is very busy so if you're intending to go, reservations are recommended.

Good food, friendly and efficient staff, incredibly quick service. My favorite was the French onion soup. I got the chocolate mousse to go, which was also fantastic. The restaurant was busy, but they are a very well-oiled machine and I still got great customer service. Definitely recommend!
