I highly recommend Good Stuff Eatery, but realize that this is a higher end burger place. The prices are not low, but the food is great - similar to Five-Guys pricing. I would recommend "The Lunch Bag" (pictured) if you want burger, fries, and a drink. Its not a fancy burger, but the combo for the price is one of the best deals. One other very nice offering is the variety of sauces available for your burger and fries that go beyond the basic ketchup and mustard. They have mayo, sriracha, chipotle, horseradish, old bay, and mango. If you're in one of the areas that has a Good Stuff Eatery I'd definitely take a look.

I heard that this place is one of President Obama favorites in DC area. Well, it definitely has great burgers. I went with the very basic cheese burger with no sauce or any other toppings. It was simply amazing. Really great stuff

We'd been walking around all the monuments and started to get hungry when I remembered that guy that had been on Top Chef had opened a burger joint that I'd heard was good. So, I Googled it and quickly remembered the name of the chef, Spike, and learned that the restaurant was called the Good Stuff Eatery and that there was a location in Georgetown. The restaurant is one where you place your order at the counter and then get a buzzer when it's ready. There was seating outside and upstairs. We sat upstairs, and there were some TVs with sports on. It wasn't high end dining, but it was a nice crowd, the tables were clean and orderly and aside from being a bit warm, we had no problem finding a comfortable place to sit even though it was quite busy in the line and I was afraid we wouldn't find a seat. I had a basic cheeseburger cooked to well done as I like it and I didn't get the special sauce as they said it was mayo based. Nonetheless, my burger was really tasty and the toppings and the bun were fresh and delicious. The fries were fantastic. There's nothing sadder than really bad fries with a good burger, but the fries here were fresh, crispy, and absolutely perfect. Though it was a simple order of a burger and fries, I really enjoyed my meal and would definitely eat there again if I am in DC again or in one of the other cities where Spike has other locations. It's really cool to see that he has been so successful after having watched him on the Top Chef show!

If your walking around hungry with no reservations and need a quick bite definitely stop by this place!. I was there on a Sunday night and the place was hopping! They give you a beeper after you place your order so you can run upstairs and try to snag a table!. There is no dining seats on the 1st floor! The burgers are better then 5 guys solely on the fact that the bun game is correct! Soft fresh bun that last till the last bite!! Unlike 5 guys where the bun dips with half a burger left! The Cajon fries and the Chili were kicking too! Def recommend!

Excellent burger with lots of fun sauces to choose from. Everything did taste fresh, including the fries and marshmallow shake. We had no leftovers 😁 it was a little spendy, but that seems typical these days for fresh food.

Definitely one of the best burgers I've had in DC. My first time going so I didn't ask for any special modifications. I had an original cheeseburger which was perfect amounts of juicy. I do wish there was a bit more sauce, but I'll just ask for extra the next time I go. I also had a soursop hop strawberry shake, and I do wish I could taste more soursop. However it was a well made shake and I finished it to the last drop. All the staff was courteous and everything was freshly made to order.

Depends on your target: if you are in the street, in the middle of things to do, then this is a decent, quick, not bad solution, to get a quick lunch! The bread is fresh, soft, the potatoes tasty, the service quick and polite!

Good StuffEatery sells burgers from nearby local farm - which guarantees fresh meat. Please try out their “Mango” sauce! I didn’t expect much but it goes well with the burger and fries. They have many different burgers but my favorite to go is the “Good Stuff Melt” with “Good stuff combo” which comes with fries and beverage. (Their small size fries is enough for 1 person usually) It was so good that I was so impatient to take a bite before taking a picture 🤤 Price was about $15-20! They also have outdoor seating to enjoy the wind when the weather permits :)
